It was something that was hard to understand, but I didn't spend time on it.
"Dimitri!" I shouted at him. His dark tall body was leaning over the white pale creature, a stake in hand.
His head snapped toward me, "Roza?" He looked around and then looked me up and down, noticing how I was in a towel. "What... How long have you been here?"
"A while..." I said, shifting uncomfortably. "How did they get in the Academy?" I shouted turning back to the locker rooms.
He fallowed me, like I hoped he would deep, deep, deep, deep down. "You need to hurry. More are gonna come, I'm sure of it..."
"Me too..." I stare at him and wait for him to turn around so I can get dressed in peace. He takes the hint, eventually, and turns around. I shuck off my towel, trowing it in the bin, and then reach for the loose T-shirt from the closet that I put there so long ago. I throw on some yoga pants, not bothering with putting on underwear and a bra, I can do that when I get to Lissa and get her out of here.
I talked to him while I changed so it wouldn't be so awkard, "If they can get in here, then they can get in everywhere. We didn't know for sure if they could get pasted the wards, but now that we do... What are we going to do?"
I turned back to Dimitri and tapped his shoulder, telling him the cost is clear.
"I don't know..." Dimitri's eyes were a little lost but sharp telling me a game plan was trying to be made in his head. "But now it's offical. We need every Moroi to fight. Before it was an option, but not now. We need to hurry, let's go." I nodded and we ran out of the gym. "What were you doing here?" he asked me as the sun beat down on our face.
"What do you think I was doing? I was taking a shower when I was so rudely interupted..." My feet pound into the ground crossing the over the grassy feilds to the Academy's walls.
"Go to Lissa, I'll get our kids," he took off in the other direction and I held no objection.
I quickly called Rae up on her phone. "Rose?" She yawned, "What's up?"
"Okay, I'm going to tell you something very, very serious, and I need you not to freak out," I wait for an answer but get none. "Okay?" I said making sure there wasn't a Strogoi standing right outside the window.
"Yeah, yeah, of course, what is it?" she was serious, listening like I hoped she would be.
I lick my lips and continue to run toward Lissa and Chirstian. Should have grabbed a bra, I thought clutching my chest.
"Lissa is apart of a line that goes way back in time." I come up with a quick lie, "Her family is known for their knowledge. She knows the dirt on every drug lord, murder, she knows the connections to everyone! Her parents were murdered back when - well, a while ago, and she is the only one in her line that knows the secrets."
"Why are you telling me this?" Rae asked.
"There is one of the murder's on campus, and I got ten bucks to say that he isn't alone. Her father turned on the crew he was working with, and they want Lissa dead, afraid she'll spill the beans on their dirty little secrets that should stay hidden," I say.
"Why dosen't she?"
"Because she doesn't know anything. She's like a Princess to these Stigoi, they want her and every one that support her dead. Every one that might know about them... That includes us, the kids, and you, unfortunetly. They are here, and Dimitri is own his way to get the kids. I need you to be careful, and go with him, okay?" I wait for her response while running through the halls.
