Karen wakes up in her room all messed up, wondering how she got there
She then tries to call her parents thinking it was all her imagination
But the line doesn't go through
She then picks up a photograph taken on her last birthday
She remembers all the events that took place on that wonderful day for her
The party organized for her
And how they promised to always be there for her
She recalls all the memories spent
She then breaks into tears
As she stopped by a knock, she doesn't care to see anyone at that moment so she ignores the knock and keeps on crying
She then hears a voice asking, "Can I come in?"
Recognizing the familiar voice, she mutters a "Yes"
Her nanny, Nanny Mel, comes in her room
"Nanny Mel welcome back", Karen said
She gives her a big hug
Nanny Mel traveled for some family issues
"Nanny Mel I missed you", Karen said
"I missed you too little one", the nanny said
"You know I'm not so little anymore", Karen said
"I know", the nanny said
They both share a long laugh
"Nanny Mel?", Karen said
"Yes dear", the nanny said
"Do you know?", said Karen sobbing
"Yes my dear, that's why I rushed down here immediately I heard the news, I'm sorry", the nanny said also sobbing
"I will miss them", Karen said breaking down into tears
"We all will", said the nanny
"Now don't get all sad, if they were here they would want you to always put a smile on your face no matter the situation"
"Also remember they will always care for you above and love you", the nanny said
The nanny continues, "They will always be right here", pointing at her heart
"I know that Nanny Mel", said Karen with a little smile on her face
"Crying would in no way fix the situation right now so wipe all your tears you'll have a visitor in a few"
"Who?", asked Karen
"Get ready now", said the nanny leaving Karen clueless
"I wonder who it is", said Karen
"Well I must get ready now"
