Harmione and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The Quidditch final

The week went even sourer as Neville got in trouble for keeping a list of passwords and was banned from visiting Hogsmeade, Ron had said sorry to Harry for fighting him but not to Hermione. Harry was very nervous about the Quidditch final against Slytherin and Wood was telling him so many things he could have written a book about it, and Hermione had to give him the calming drought the three days before the game. He was still nervous through the rest of the week as the teacher had already started to prepare the students for exams as if it wasn't enough on his plate already. Hermione work load seemed to be finally getting to her and Ron's attitude had slightly improved but he still was dismissive of Hermione and called Crookshanks a murder when ever he saw him. Harry and Hermione had started studying, and both still continued their Dementor lessons and both now could produce Corporeal Patronuses much to the delight of a weak looking Lupin. Harry and Hermione had figured out the Lupin was a werewolf from over the time of the term, his dissaperences, his marks and most obvious of all his Boggart was the full moon but still didn't say anything to Ron who seemed to be avoiding them slightly. Wood was making the team train harder than ever and this was also getting to Harry and nearly screamed the pitch down after Wood had badgered him. Ron had become the quite a celebrity after being attacked by Sirus Black, or so he said. Hermione and Harry thought he was being a bit of a prat, and most of the Gryffindors agreed so he and Seamus avoided the common room, Harry told this to Ron who agreed a little but didn't apoligse to Hermione.

Harry walked out to the roar of the crowd with all of Gryffindor, most of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw and a few boos from the Slytherins. Wood and the Slytherin looked like they were trying to break each other's hands when the shook before Madam Hooch released the three balls. Harry mounted the broom quite worried and he saw Malfoy's smirk widened but he could see a flicker of worry when Malfoy looked at the Firebolt, they kicked off and the game. While Lee Jordan made Slytherins name mud, Harry spotted the snitch and because Gryffindor was now fifty points ahead he went after the snitch. He was reaching for it when he felt his broom was being yanked back and looked back horrified as he saw Malfoy's slimy hands on the back of his broom dragging it back.

"Gryffindor Pentaly, never have I seen-" Madam Hooch said

"YOU FILTHY CHEATING SCUM! MALFOY YOU PIECE OF LOWLEY MUD CHEATING SCUM OF-" Jordan began but he saw Professor McGonagall face and stopped but to his surprise, McGonagall was shaking his fist at Malfoy

After another ten minutes, Gryffindor was leading Slytherin Seventy points to Twenty and Harry saw the snitch, he shook off Malfoy and sped after the snitch Malfoy didn't catch on until another teammate shouted at him and he turned and went after Harry. He knocked into Harry but Harry managed to turn slightly and sped away as the snitch was in reach he felt his heart skip when his fingers wrapped around the snitch and an ear-splitting roar erupted as the Gryffindors flooded the stadium. Wood had tears in his eyes, Fred and George were setting off fireworks, Alica, Katie, and Angelina all kissed Harry on the cheek and he saw a grinning Hermione sweep him up her arms and when she thought no one was looking she planted a light kiss on Harry's lips. She broke away blushing as Deann's jaw dropped, Lavender and Pavarti even cracked a tiny smile and Fred and George holstered Harry up and passed the trophy to him he lifted it up as a giant roar broke out. Fred and George started the party where even Harry danced, he was praised by the whole Gryffindor, Wood let loose and was so happy he nearly crushed Harry in a 'man hug'. The next week Harry became a hero in Gryffindor, and every time he walked through the corridor a lot of girls stared at him and giggled when they looked at him, much to Hermione's displeasure and she glared at most of the girls. Cho and the Ravenclaw girls almost followed Harry around most of the day so Hermione ended up sticking with Harry for the rest of the week much to Cho's annoyance.

"Hey Harry," Cho said grinning Hermione glared at Cho and ushered Harry into the great hall, she was a little shocked at how she was acting but she had released that how strong must of her feelings towards Harry were quite strong to the point she was jealous.

"Oi Potter, why didn't you get a broomstick that had a dementor repel on the front, maybe that'd help you," Malfoy had snarled

"Why don't you get a broomstick with an extra hand so it could catch the Snitch for you?" Harry snorted as the Gryffindor table burst out with laughter and Malfoy flushed red

Lessons began the next day and Hermione showed up to Divination again but stormed out half-an-hour later when Trelawney had said she didn't possess the seeing. Harry had looked on in awe and later with Hermione had suggested returning the crystal ball so Harry agreed but Trelawney had gone rigid and start to shake as her eyes went blank and she started to shout out words while shaking

"TONIGHT HE WHO HAD BETRAYED HIS FRIENDS AT HOGWARTS, THY SHALL BRAKE FREE, INNOCENT BLOOD SHALL BE SPILLED, AND SERVANT AND MASTER SHALL BE REUNITED ONCE MORE!"

Harry and Hermione had dashed out and Harry winced slightly and clutched his scar, he decided as it was the execution of Buckbeak later he, Hermione and Ron should go and visit Hagrid. Hermione was extremely upset and Harry had managed to comfort her on their way down.
