Hermione's Secret

"It was Scabbers, well not really, he was this creepy wizard called Peter Pettigrew," Ron said wincing as Dumbledore looked at Harry and Hermione

"Point is we know the truth," Hermione said

"I'm afraid the word of three thirteen-year-old wizards would count for much," Dumbledore said "mysterious thing is time, powerful, but when meddled with- dangerous, Sirus Black is the in the top dark cellar of the north tower, you know the laws, Miss Granger," Dumbledore turned around, "you must not be seen, if you succeed tonight more than one innocent life may be spared, three turns should do it,"

"Sorry, Ron seeing as you can't walk," Hermione pulled a gold chain and put it around Harry's neck, and turned it three times Harry felt dizzy as he saw time fly by him people were moving at super speed and they went quicker by the minute. Hermione the pulled it of Harry and stuffed it back in a large pocket, she then grabbed Harry's hand,

"What happened?" Harry asked as Hermione was dragging his arm

"It's seven-thirty, where were we at seven-thirty?" Hermione asked

"Going to Hagrid's why?" Harry asked as Hermione dragged him out the Hospital Wing and Harry ran after him

"Hermione!" Harry shouted as Hermione dragged him to the front porch and Harry saw three people who were confronting Malfoy "have we- this is weird?"

Hermione pulled out the golden chain with an hour glass on the bottom, "This is a time-turner, you know the thing I told you about at the start of term," Hermione took Harry's hand "but why did we come here,"

"I know," Harry said clicking "we can also save Buckbeak, two innocent lives have been spared!" Harry said as Hermione beamed at him "Sirus can escape on Buckbeak!"Harry said as Hermione flung her arms around him as they looked as Hermione punched Malfoy in the face "nice punch,"

"Thanks," Hermione giggled "come on Malfoy's coming," they slipped out of the passage and ran after themselves

"Ok Hermione stay here," Harry said "I'll get Buckbeak," Hermione nodded

Harry walked slowly walked up to Buckbeak when Hermione tugged at his arm "not yet, they have to see it," Hermione said they watched as Ron got Scabbers again and Harry had to use all his willpower not to go and grab Pettigrew and squash him, Dumbledore, Fudge, and the Executioner were coming but the trio were not leaving.

"They're coming," Hermione looked back at the trio "and we're not leaving!" Hermione found a stone and threw it at Harry then one at a pot

"Ow," Harry said "that hurt,"

"Sorry," Hermione said at once the trio went out Hagrids as Dumbledore went in with the rest of them. The went into the wood's entrance as the other three crouch behind the pumpkins "is that what my hair looks like from the back," Hermione pushed a branch out of the way

Harry snorted quietly "Yep," as Hermione playfully pushed him "ok now go we get Buckbeak," Harry walked up and bowed at Buckbeak who bowed as well so he untied Buckbeak and pulled him but he would move when Hermione came forward

"Come on Buckbeak, come get the nice dead ferret," Hermione showed the dead ferrets slinging some over her shoulder, she threw one at Buckbeak as Dumbledore came out she froze as did Harry but luckily Dumbledore pointed towards Hogwarts as Hermione held out another ferret and slowly Buckbeak was within Forest's trees.

Fudge turned "well where is it?" 

"What," Dumbledore said

"The beast, I saw it here not a moment ago," Fudge said "we must search! Search the grounds!"

"Search the skies if you must minister!" Dumbledore exclaimed "now if you don't mind I would like some tea or a strong brandy,"

"Come in," Hagrid said a weak smile formed on his sunken face

Hermione tied Buckbeak to a tree and fed him another dead ferret as they ran off to save Sirus, they watched as Lupin immobilised the tree and crawled in followed by Snape who slid in

"Now we wait," Harry said

"Now we wait," Hermione replied she sat down and rested her head on Harry's shoulder whilst Harry explained the Patronus they sat there for at least an hour before they had to move as the group came out.

"I think I saw a large stag, and a doe," Harry said "I knew it wasn't my parents, but I fainted before I could see who it was," they watched as the moon fell upon the heard and Lupin turned into his large werewolf form, he corned Harry and Hermione raised her hands and howled "what are you doing?" 

"Saving your life," Hermione said howling again and Lupin came at them Hermione moaned as Harry moaned and grabbed her hand

"Now it's coming for us," Harry moaned

"Yeah didn't think about that," Hermione said as Lupin crashed into the bushes "RUN!" she took his hand and dashed away taking Harry with her the ran through the trees Harry could hear Hermione's heart race she was she pulled Harry behind a tree. They slowly crept around the tree but Lupin was behind them as Hermione shrunk into Harry's arm as Harry shielded her, she screamed as Buckbeak came and hit Lupin on the head sending him crashing into the ground Buckbeak rallied on Lupin scaring him away. Hermione was quite shaken. They felt as the wind rushed past them and both looked into the sky dozens of Dementors were flying off towards the small lake as Harry inhaled a large breath as he gasped.

"Sirus," he grabbed Hermione's hand "come on!" they ran towards the lake and found opening at the tree, Hermione's eyes leaked slightly as she saw the Dementors around on Harry and Sirus she was shaking

"It's horrible," Hermione said trembling but something was in the back of her mind she had seen that scene before it snapped in her mind, she was the one who saved Harry

"Don't worry," Harry said inhaling another icy breath "someone will come, they will conjure the Patronus, they'll come,"

Hermione's eyes were leaking faster now she saw as all three of them were now pale and she fainted "we're dying, all of us," these words snapped in both their minds Harry ran forward and grabbed Hermione they both waved their wands weakly and shouted "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" they watched in awe as a large stag and a doe erupted out of their wand and it hit the Dementor and charged at them butting them and the shrieks as the Dementors fled and all three fainted. Hermione wrapped her arms around Harry and both full of emotion their lips met. A kiss full of passion Hermione's hand through Harry's black and felt her hair being played with. Hermione lost herself in the kiss, and they both didn't want it to end, she closed her eyes as both pulled away giggling and they ran towards Buckbeak and untied him. Hermione was grinning but her face fell as Harry mounted Buckbeak and so did a reluctant Hermione who wrapped her hands around Harry's middle and they kicked off high into the sky.

"What's wrong," Harry asked

"Nothing," Hermione said squeezing Harry, "I just don't like flying!" Hermione screamed as they went into a dive and landed in the tower "move," Hermione raised her wand "BOMBARDO!" the door lock flew off and they quickly grabbed Sirus and put him on Buckbeak

"How can ever thank you?" Sirus said

"Quick go!" Hermione and Harry said holding hands

"Good luck!" Sirus said winking as Harry and Hermione went red and ran back into the hospital wing looking at a dazed Ron

"Hey wait, I was talking to you over there, how'd you get there," Ron said as Hermione giggled

"Honestly Ron, how can anyone be in two places at once?" Hermione said
