"Very well," Lupin said handing Sirus Ron's wand as Hermione started to shiver "but wait one moment Harry has the right to know why,"

"I know why he betrayed my parents, you're the reason they're dead," Harry said

"No Harry, someone did betray your parents," Lupin said, "someone who I thought till recently was dead!"

"Who?" Harry asked

"PETER PETTIGREW!" Black roared "and he's in this room right now, come out come out," Black wondered forward "come out and play,"

"Expelliarmus!" Snape ran and disarmed Black and started to sneer "I told Dumbledore you were helping an old friend into the castle,"

Black sniggered "Go run and play with your Chemistry set," Snape pushed his wand into Black's neck as Harry and Ron picked up their wands. Harry pointed his at Snape

"Tell me why I shouldn't do it," Snape sneered pointing his wand deeper into Black's neck Harry raised his wand and pointed at Black then turned it to Snape

"EXPELLIARMUS!"Harry said but Snape was blasted off his feet and onto the bed which crashed down. Hermione gasped before looking back at Lupin and Black but Harry didn't care "Tell me about Peter Pettigrew,"

"He was at school with us, we thought he was our friend," Lupin began

"No," Harry pointed his wand at Black "you killed him,"

"No, he didn't I thought so too until you mentioned seeing him on the map," Lupin said

"The map was lying," Harry said

"THE MAP NEVER LIES!" Black croaked "Pettigrew is alive and he's right there," Black pointed at Ron's rat

"He's mental," Ron squawked

"Not you," Black rolled his eyes "your rat!"

"Scabbers has been in my family for-" Ron began

"Twelve years, a bit long for a garden rat," Black croaked again "he's missing a toe isn't he?"

"So what?" Ron said as Scabbers was trying to free himself

"Allt they found of Pettigrew was his finger," Harry said

"He was a coward, he transformed into a rat," Black said

"Show me," Harry said as Black seized the rat and gave it Lupin he muttered something and it changed into a fat, balding man with scabby skin and a dirty look he was shorter than Harry no bigger than Hermione.

"Remus, Sirus," Pettigrew began "my old friends," he rushed to the door

"You sold James and Lilly to Voldemort?" Lupin said

"I didn't mean to?" Pettigrew moaned he ran at Harry and muttered something into his begging for mercy. Black raised his wand

"NO!" Harry said

"Harry this man-" Lupin began

"I know what he is," Harry said as Pettigrew leaped upon his feet

"Bless you," Pettigrew began

"I'm not doing this for you, we're taking you to the Dementors," Harry said Pettigrew's face drained and went cold and white

"Sorry about the bite," Black said to Ron "it must twinge a bit,"

"A bit!" Ron said wincing, Snape was floating along slightly skimming the roof of the passage leading out just near the Forbidden Forest "you almost tore my leg off,"

"Sorry my aim is usually much better, I was going for the rat," Black said as he left Ron by the entrance to the forest as he took Harry to a side "Harry, not that you would probably accept but after I can be cleared- I thought that you-if you wanted- you could come and live with me,"

"Live with you? Of course! I would love to!" Harry said glee filling his body
