26 January Friday
My alarm went off, quickly checking the proper time, I let out a tired yawn. It was Friday which meant the boys would be back. 'the boys are back' I snorted as I remembered this line from high school musical where yummy Chad and gorgeous Troy sang.
Agh I had to get ready for school again. It barley felt like I slept, okay I didn't really sleep. I was up for more than half the night thinking on ways to get back at Parker. That evil child. How can I get back at him. It's insane the amount of times his done it to me.
And that's when the perfect idea hit me.
Quickly getting out of bed and getting ready in my boring school clothes. I skipped downstairs. I knocked on dads office door before peeping inside.
"hi pumpkin, what you need? " dad asked without even looking at me.
"what if it was Lu instead of me? " I asked suspiciously before putting on my biggest smile.
"doesn't matter cause I call all y'all pumpkin if I want" - he finally turned around - "oh no. What you want? " now he was suspicious as well.
"I was just, you know, wondering, if you could possibly, maybe-"
"anytime today princess" he said rolling his eyes. Did he just roll his eyes at me?
"can I leave school early today?" I asked hopefully trying to act innocent.
"No. Why?"
"I need time to set up my revenge prank on Parker. I also need to buy the supplies" I said thinking about what color balloons I wanted.
"so you want to skip school on something so trivial as pranking your brother. You want to miss out on your education. An opportunity to set your future just for a prank "
"yes" now that he said it like that. It did sound stupid but I am so tired of parkers pranks.
"is it worth it? " his eyes were slits now and he examined me.
"yes?" I answered unsure of myself
"okay"
"but he always has the upper hand on me and I never can get him properly back. And its not like I'll be missing the whole day, just the last two periods. Please please... Wait did you say okay" there was amazement in his eyes and I pouted angrily because he was on the verge of laughing at me. I then tried to hide my own smile but I was betrayed by the uplift of the corner of my mouth.
"I'll ask to leave early and pick you up." I cheered with my fist raised in the air.
"thank you thank you thank you" I cheered and kissed him on the cheek before leaving his study. I went to get myself breakfast, finding Lu already at the table. He ate his cereal messyly while watching a video on his phone. Typical.
I rolled my eyes at him while getting some coffee to go with my toast. Not long, dad showed up and snickered as he passed me, seeing lu with milk dripping from the side of his mouth. Pig.
The car ride was silent because dad snapped at Lu who asked again about the car situation. I kind of just snickered in the back seat making Lu turn around and glare at me. When he turned back he took out his earphones. Ignoring the world around him, I could see he was silently seething.
He jumped right out as quickly as the car came to a complete stop. I was surprised he didn't land in his face or something. I leaned forward between the front seats and kissed my dad on the cheek.
