Shadows submerged half of Taehyung's face, the other half was painted by the sun's light. It was a few hours past midday, the sun still hung in the blue sky, partly shrouded by white wispy clouds. Below the sun stood the bustling high street, grey pavements, small shops and a constantly moving loud crowd of people. Taehyung's eyes were frantically eyeing passersby he saw as he walked along the high street.

The man was searching for Yoongi.

If Taehyung was honest, he would say yes; he was scared out of his wits. He was out in the open, what if Jungkook saw him? What if some random crazy vampire aside from Jungkook saw him? But the fact that he was looking for Yoongi seemed to override his other fears. He needed Yoongi, he needed to know if his hyung would stay with him. Needed to know how the older knew Jungk- the vampire. He needed the other to comfort him. He wanted to know if the older was safe. He needed to know if Yoongi actually cared for him.

Taehyung frowned as his eyes didn't spot any mint green hair in the crowd. He had already been on this road several times, he had checked the roads around the university as well and had wasted about five hours walking outside. His phone, neatly tucked in his pocket, had called Yoongi's phone 28 times and messaged Yoongi's phone about 104 times. But sadly Yoongi hadn't answered any of his calls or his messages.

He frowned, pausing and grabbed his phone from his pocket deciding that one call wouldn't increase his phone bill greatly. He tapped the green call button and lifted the device to his ear. The familiar repetitive ringing sound haunted his ear. Taehyung chewed his lip patiently. After a minute the ringing sound was replaced with a woman's automated voice claiming, "you can leave a voicemail after the beep" He ended the call before the dull loud beeping noise annihilated his eardrums.  He sighed as he moved the phone from his ear to in front of his eyes. He stared blankly for a few seconds at the screen, eyeing Yoongi's face. The werewolf had a gummy smile stretching across his face and styled green hair, Taehyung's own face was squished next to him. A smile unconsciously drifted onto his face. His eyes flickered to the red phone icon underneath Yoongi's face, indicating Yoongi had missed the call. The smile disappeared, instead a frown stealing its place.

He put his phone in his pocket, missing the dull thud noise of something hitting the ground as he pulled his hand back from his pocket.

"Excuse me," a gruff voice called out.

Taehyung turned in confusion as a calloused hand grasped his bony shoulder. He froze as he absorbed the face of a man staring directly at him, blue eyes boring into his brown ones. As he scanned the stranger's face the bustling high-street around them seemed to freeze alongside him.

The whining of a child, a hushed and coaxing voice of a mother, a bark of an excited dog, the chitter and chatter of flocks of friends, the giggles and murmured voices which were identified as flirting amongst a couple leisurely leaning against a brick wall; everything quietened into the background.

Taehyung's eyes widened as the sharp-featured man, with a broad nose and thin black eyebrows stared quizzically at him. No, it wasn't Jungkook. He stifled a gasp as the man's features distorted into Jungkook's facial physique. Then the man's face changed back to the sharp chin with a broad nose. Then back to Jungkook with his small pink lips. Then back to the mans. He watched frightened, as the man's features kept on distorted. A sense of fear settling happily in his stomach.

His heartbeat increased as he stared at the man currently in front of him, his features exactly the same as Jungkook's.

No not Jungkook. I don't want him. No. Leave me alone. The name 'Jungkook' echoed inside his head, repeating like a mantra. As his head began to pound in fear and abruptly whipped his head away from the man and began to run. Dashing away from the man. He could hear the latter's footsteps, indicating the man was following him. Like drum beats following after him. Matching his own pace. Weird. Why wasn't he using his vampire speed? The thought blared inside his head before it was gone. Pushed aside by the one command his brain was shouting continually at him to do. Run. Taehyung didn't like to trust his instincts anymore since it had brought him to that fated night of doom where Jungkook had captured him, but this time he listened to the command, running like his hair was on fire.
