A/N This is dedicated to carrotseatturtles and every other person who has long awaited my return. I appreciate you all so much.

"Hey... Dan," Phil asks from the next room over. His tone has a particular edge to it that concerns me.

"Yea?" I reply, walking to where his voice is coming from.

"We have a... situation,"

"That being...?" I ask, and reach the lounge where Phil is hunched over a beaten up box. "What in the world is that?"

"It arrived today, no return address, just a half-peeled off sticker with our address on it," He says, digging through the box of what appears to be confetti.

"That's... concerning, to say the least," I sit down next to him and start rummaging through, hoping to find something in the sea of bright green confetti. I try to look like I'm making an effort rummaging through the shredded green paper, but really I'm planning my attack. I grab a fistful of the confetti and deposit it onto his head, running my fingers through his ebony hair to get the paper thoroughly entangled.

"I hate you!" Phil shouts, grabbing his own handful of the confetti, and shoving it down the front of my shirt.

"You'll pay for that, Lester!" I shout and shove a wad of itchy green paper down the back of his hoodie.

As Phil grabs his next handful of paper, I notice something shiny entwined in the mass of paper. Before I could think of what it was, the paper is flying all around me and Phil is on one knee.

"Dan," Phil starts.

"Yes. Yes. Yes. A million times yes," I say before he can finish.

As he slides the glimmering silver ring onto my finger, I look deep into his eyes, impatient. As soon as the ring is in its position, I tackle my fiancé. He goes down laughing, which brings me back to 2009, a better time for both of us. A time where we didn't have to hide who we were.

Laying on the ground, fingers intertwined, I look over at my flatmate, best friend and now, fiancé. "I think we should come out. Just so we don't have to hide everything we do. It would be so much easier for both of us," I say, watching his expression change from content to concerned. "Of course, we don't have to if you don't feel comfortable doing it," I add quickly.

"No, I agree. It has been too much stress for something so insignificant of an issue. The internet is a supportive place. We already have so much love from everyone," Phil replies, face scrunched with thought.

"It's settled then. How about we hold off on the coming out video, though. What if we just stop hiding every little thing we do, and just be ourselves?" I suggest, rolling over to face Phil better.

"That sounds good. That sounds really good,"

A/N this might suck because I've gone so long without writing something like this. Thanks again to everyone that reads this and eagerly awaits another. You all mean so much to me. Thanks for being there.
