When the helicarrier arrived at the tower, Helen Cho awaited them.
She had her nurses deal with the twins, and she stayed with Victoria as she wheeled her to the medical bay. She checked her medical ABC's and hooked her up to multiple machines to measure her progress.
After running tests, Helen returned to the waiting room, Clint jumped at the chance to interrogate her, "Is my daughter going to be alright?"
"Victoria is going to be just fine, Mr. Barton. She is just experiencing exhaustion, that's all," she paused. "One of our tests showed that she's healing at an incredible rate, without the medicine we gave her. Do you know why?"
"She was enhanced by some injection from Strucker. That's how she saved Pietro."
"Incredible."
"She really is," Clint smiled. "Well, I need to get back to my wife. But please, if anything happens, ask someone to contact me."
"Will do, Mr. Barton."

Upon arriving home, he found Laura boiling the kettle. She paused and turned back to see her husband. She ran to hug him, before pulling back and glancing around.
"Where's Victoria?"
"Daddy!"
Lila and Cooper ran to their father enveloping him in hugs. Laura repeated herself, "Where is Victoria?"
"Dad? What happened?"
Clint looked at his son's face that fell as his mother asked.
"Something happened, didn't it?"
"Victoria is perfectly fine, she's back at the tower – resting. She saved someone," Clint looked down. "Someone that tried to save me."
"Is she going to be okay?"
"One hundred percent, Coop."
***
"How is she?"
"She's good, she's still asleep right now but Doctor Cho says she's stable."
"Let me know."
"Of course, Clint."
Pietro hung up, slipping his phone on the table beside them. He grabbed onto her hand, rubbing his thumb over it and he stared at his girl.
"I miss you. I miss your laugh and your smile, but most of all I miss your voice. Victoria, I've had to live without you for a month now. God, it's been tough. I—" he looked down. "—I think I love you."
Pietro gave a small smile, thinking he sounded like a fool for thinking she could hear him. All those love movies that Wanda had him watch must have given him false hope or something.
"I think I love you too."
"Victoria?"
"Speedy?"
Pietro choked on a laugh as tears sprung in his eyes. He grabbed her face, kissing her deeply. Pulling away, he kissed all over her face.
"Don't ever leave me again."
"I was right here Speedy, I'm never leaving."
"Hold on, I need to call your dad."
"Is he here?"
"No, but he will be soon," Pietro smirked. "And there will be someone you'll want to meet."
Pietro stepped out of her room as the doctors and nurses flooded the room, checking her vitals. He dialled Clint's number again, the archer picking up after a few rings.
"Speedy, I know I'm irresistible and all but we just spoke—"
"—She's awake."
"We're on the way."
