I want to be there
No where else
Just in my dreams
By myself
But I wont be alone
Because of the people there
People I know
People from anywhere
And the places I go
In the void of my head
Are clear yet unknown
Familiar yet unsaid
Every night I look forward
To closing my eyes
To turning my thoughts inward
And escaping this life
Here there's no rules
No standards worth keeping
Where my thoughts unfold
And any lie is worth believing
So don't wake me up
I don't wish to return
All of time is not enough
To run away from the hurt
Of staying awake
When I could be asleep
Without a care for this place
So my mind can be at peace
