I felt crammed, being booted to the back of Ian's jeep. Chad had been waiting outside this whole time. He managed to steal the front seat, and since Ian was driving, George, Max, and I were in the back seat.

"Sorry about that, but I don't want to deal with those cunts. By the way, I'm Chad. You must be Rose," he said, extending a hand to the back seat. I shook it and smiled at him.

"I would say nice to meet you, but you're putting me in a little bit of a tight situation at the moment, so I'll just say hi," I said as I adjusted slightly.

My legs were pressed against Max's and George's. "Talk about needing leg room," George said.

"Yeah cunts, that's how it always is for me. Being tall is a curse," Ian said, making his way out of my apartment complex, taking a right, instead of a left.

I sighed and pulled my phone out after I pushed my sunglasses over my eyes. "So Rose, you like Marilyn Manson?" Max asked, trying to make conversation.

"I was actually gonna listen to him," I said pulling out a pair of earbuds and plugging them into my phone.

"No need for that. Give me your phone," Ian said. I handed it to him, and he handed it to Chad. Chad plugged it into an AUX chord and pressed shuffle on one of Manson's albums.

"You guys, you can listen to what you want it's not a..." I began to say, but then the intro to 'This is the New Shit' started and I cut myself off. "Never mind. We have to listen to it," I said and smiled. George chuckled slightly at me.

I began to sing along with the almost demonic sounding tones. Obviously, I didn't sound like he did, but I just enjoyed singing the lyrics.

"Babble babble, bitch bitch, rebel rebel, party party, sex sex sex and don't forget the violence."

"You listen to this on the regular?" George asked and gave me a questioning look. I nodded and smiled innocently, which he replied with a small smile and an eye roll. "Damn."

"Get over it, it's a good song," I said, "and I made you breakfast this morning so quit complaining."

"I didn't get any breakfast!" Chad complained from the front seat.

"Well, you didn't come inside with the boys," I said and shrugged.

Ian cut in. "You missed some damn good pancakes."

-

Ian pulled into his driveway and parked his jeep. I sighed as the end of 'The Beautiful People' ended right in time. George and Max opened either door, and I hopped out behind Max.

I looked around at the place. If reminded me a bit of home. The boys walked inside, me trailing behind them.

"Okay, let's get changed, Chad can you explain what the hell we're doing," George said. Chad saluted and turned to face me as the other three went in the other room.

"Basically, they're playing paintball as their characters. George will be switching between Frank, Pink Guy, and Salamander Man, so be prepared for the cancer. Ian will be the green cunt, and Max will be Maxine. You and I are going to be camera men, and well, woman. But at some point, I'm gonna be joining in and shoot the crap out of the son's a bitches. Got it?" He said.

I took a big breath and nodded. "Yeah, I think I'll go have a smoke first," I said. I began to walk out but sighed and turned around. A lighter came flying towards me. I caught it and looked at Chad, who just simply smiled. "Thanks."
