Joji and I had switched driving, and I was driving the rest of the way to the airport. Zayn and Joji were both passed out. I, myself, was pretty exhausted.

Finally, after a couple of hours, we got the airport.

"Aye! Dumbasses! Wake up!" I called, reaching over shaking Joji.

Zayn and Joji both jolted awake. Zayn yawned and Joji sighed. "Time to go home," he said. He looked at the clock and it was about 2 pm.

We all got out and got our stuff. We just left the car there and walked in the airport. Joji did most of the talking, as Zayn and I didn't really know Japanese.

We waited in line to get tickets. Once we finally got them, Joji told us that it was gonna be about an hour or so before we could board our plane. We did everything that we needed to do and then we waited.

"Thank you guys, so much," Zayn said to us.

"Yeah, of course. We wouldn't want anyone in this situation if they didn't deserve it," I said, leaning against Joji, who had his arm around my shoulder. Zayn was on the other side of me.

"I'm just ready to be home. I just want to be in my own bed, my own place. This has been super rough," Zayn said.

"I understand how you feel, one hundred percent," I responded. "Well, I'm gonna try and sleep before we board."

"Okay, but don't be grumpy when I wake you up," Joji said while readjusting his arm, so I could be more comfortable.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," I said, cozying up to him and closing my eyes. I had dozed off fairly quickly. I could hear Joji and Zayn talking softly, but it faded away as I drifted off to sleep.

"Rose, hey Rose, come on, our planes here." Someone was gently shaking me awake. I opened my eyes and saw Zayn looking back at me.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes, standing up slowly. "Where'd Joji go?" I asked looking around for him. I spotted him walking quickly towards us. "Never mind."

"Hey, guys, we gotta go. Like, now," Joji said quietly to us, grabbing my arm.

"Yeah we know, the plane's boarding," Zayn said to him.

"Yeah, well, we've got bigger problems than that," Joji said looking at the two of us. We both got what he meant and we hurried off to our plane.

"I saw two of his men when I was coming out of the bathroom. Luckily, they didn't see me, or I don't think they did, but I don't wanna take any chances," Joji said as we got to our terminal and safely made it into our plane.

I was in the middle, which I honestly didn't mind. Joji was by the window and Zayn was on the outside. "Do you think they know we're going home?" Zayn spoke softly to the two of us.

"Probably, I mean, why else would they be here," I said, bouncing my leg slightly. Joji noticed, and put his hand on my knee, using his calming effect on me.

"We're gonna be okay. Look, we're already ok the plane, no one's gonna find us." Joji spoke confidently, but I could tell he was nervous too.

"Joji!" We heard someone call his name, and all of us had a mini panic attack, until we realized that it was just a fan of his. He smiled and waved and said hey. She was sitting on the seats opposite of us.

"I hope she doesn't post anything about you being here," I said softly, so only Joji and Zayn could hear.

"Well, even if she did, they'd be too late," Zayn said. The pilot came over the intercom and told us that we're taking off. I let out a small sigh of relief. We weren't out of hot water yet, but at least we could see over the edge of the pot.

I couldn't sleep for the first two hours of the flight, but Zayn and Joji has both passed out. I wasn't exactly sure how, seeing as we had not been awake all that long, but I guess if you're tired, you're tired.

I just sat there and thought to myself. It was insane. Thinking about how this all started.

This random guy saves my life, by tackling me to the ground to avoid a drunk driver. We see each other again and become friends. We go out for drinks with his friends and then he stays the night.

And shit hits the fan. Police and drug cartels and bad people trying to kill the both of us. We escape to Japan, where he's inevitably shot, and I realize that I'm in love with him. I get told that my it's either Joji or my own father's life and...boy oh boy, it's just one thing after the other.

I've always wanted a more "exciting" life, but I never meant this. It just goes to show me that things can change quicker than you'd imagine, and you really never know what could happen.
