"I can't BELIEVE this!" Hope's mother screamed.

"God so help me I spend a freaking dollar!" Her dad retorted.

"You need to stop giving away money to that hobo you call a friend!" She yelled.

"Stop it Jennifer! You're acting like a child!" Her father roared.

"Stop wasting money and I wouldn't have to!"

"Just shut UP!"

"Why are you like this all of the sudden!? You've changed!" Her mother cried.

"I haven't changed! You knew what you were getting into when you said 'I do' so don't you DARE say I've changed!" He snapped.

"Why don't we just stop then, huh?! Put Hope out of this misery of having to listen to her own parents fighting every night and just end it!" She sobbed.

Silence.

After awhile, a small voice breathed through the kitchen of the old, beat up farm house.

"No." Her dad whispered.

Silence.

"Fight for me." Her mother whispered before walking into Hope's room.

Barney and barbie posters filled the walls of the five year olds room. She laid of her tummy, fast asleep with a slight smile on her face. She hummed slightly to whatever her small brain had to ofer her, unaware of what was going on around her.

"I don't want you to leave me." A voice whispered softly.

Hope's mom turned to see her husband with tears rolling down his chubby face.

"I don't want to leave you either." She sighed.

"Jen, please stay. I'm sorry about whatever started this fight but you know what? That little girl needs a father and you need a loving husband that will take care of you. Please don't ever leave." He mumbled softly.

"I promise, I'll never leave you."
