The Thought of Losing You

A woman with short black hair and violet eyes stared at the two with a smile while the man she adored the most just stared with shock and disbelief. The human couldn't understand what was going on so he stayed silent.

???: Did you miss me? I know I missed you. My dear Malphas.

Sebastian: Z-Zara?

Zara: So you finally bothered to remember my name huh? I'm so happy.

She walks over to Sebastian and passionately kisses him, causing to Claude to almost hurt her. She smirked and stood up straight.

Zara: But still...I'm still disappointed in you! How could you just give up what you are for this human? You're becoming weak so...

The pulled out a sword and aimed it towards Claude.

Zara: I shall kill the human who did this to you and teach you exactly how to be who you are.

Sebastian: But-

Zara: Don't worry. We'll find someone else who loves us. This one has only made you weak and it disgusts me.

She raised the sword and brought it down, only for it to be caught by Sebastian.

Sebastian: I'm not letting you hurt him.

Zara: So now this some sort of romance story. You'll do anything to keep your true love from dying. Whatever it is, I'm not interested. This is the real world and life is unfair. Especially for us, monsters who have been seen as nothing but who should just rot away so stay back and let me protect you!

Sebastian: Those are words I'd expect to hear from a princess.

Zara stopped and smirked. She dropped the sword combed her fingers through her hair.

Zara: I guess it was pretty obvious. I should've known that you'd find out sometime.

Zara, meaning princess or lady, was the princess what these monsters were. She deeply cared about Sebastian since a lot of them were foolish and ended up being killed. Since she could never protect any of them, she left with Sebastian and abandoned the title of princess.

Claude just sat and watched the two began to fight. Zara picked up her sword and attempted to stab Sebastian. Each time he dodged, but she was starting to get even closer stabbing him in the heart.

After a while of processing, Claude knew that Zara had gotten him. She stabbed Sebastian straight through the heart.

Zara: I guess the only way of making sure that I can keep our kind safe is to clear both of your minds. Make you forget about each other and the fact that this ever happened. I'll erase it all and my sweet Sebastian will come back to me. I promise that I'll make it better.

Sebastian dropped to the floor, coughing up blood, while Zara went over and sliced Claude's torso. He didn't have time to react as blood spilled onto the blanket and Zara laughed a sadistic.

Zara: I'll cleanse your thoughts and make both of your lives better. I'll be the princess I should've been. That's right.

The two men looked at each other and Sebastian smiled.

'Sebastian: Don't worry. I'll still be here. Please don't...Don't make him forget.'
