Alison

"Ali, come on! You've been hogging the laptop for hours!" Olivia begged as she stood in the doorway to my room. My 15 year old sister was going through the faze where she just had to get her way or she'd start throwing a fit.

"Olivia. No. I'm doing homework." I shooed her away as I turned back to my laptop.

I actually wasn't doing homework, it's still two and a half months away from school time. I was applying for colleges when I had suddenly gotten a Twitter notification for a follow request. And guess who it was.

The mystery guy from last night! Ya know, the absolutely drool worthy Greek God from one of my deliveries.

How the hell did he find me? Did he think I was pretty? What did he want from me?

I shut my laptop and decided to go find food to calm my raging stomach, that I thought might actually start speaking if I didn't eat soon.

Once I reached the kitchen I went straight to the fridge, looking for one of my favorite pudding cups. I really shouldn't, due to the fact that they're extremely unhealthy and could kill me one day, but I peeled one open and started to eat it anyway. Living life to the fullest, is what I call it.

"Alison, what've I told you about that stuff? It's poison you know," My mom stepped into the kitchen, dressed up in a really fancy looking dress.

I raised my eyebrows, "Where are you going?"

"I've got some business to take care of, in town. Don't wait up for me. Money's on my dresser if you want to order dinner later." She said, grabbing her keys and speed walking to the door.

Hmm, strange.

I shrugged and continued to poison my body with the deliciousness that is chocolate pudding cups.

But once I finished I realized how lonely I was. I had no real friends to hang out with besides my best friend, Wynonna, but she was out of the state visiting her grandmother. She'd be gone for the majority of the summer, so as for friends, I was alone for the moment.

And it's not like I could really go out because I was in charge of watching over Olivia. Darn.

Looks like it's just another Netflix night for me.

Just then my phone rang and I furrowed my brows, who would be calling me so late at night?

"Hello, this is Alison speaking,"

"Hey Princess,"

Oh no.

"No no no no no! How the flapjack did you get my number?" I yelled into the phone.

"Flapjack? What are you, afraid of cuss words or something?" Mystery man said smugly into the receiver.

I rolled my eyes, "Yes! They're bad words and I don't approve. Now can you answer my freaking question you cantaloupe!"

"Oh god! You're hilarious," He laughed for a whole four minutes before calming down.

"You done?" I ask once he's calmed down. His laugh actually wasn't that bad to listen to. It sounded genuine, something mine never sounded like. Instead I sounded like two monkeys who just got their tails ran over by a monster truck in the middle of July.
