Grieving over someone you loved so dearly hurts. Someone you gave everything for, and they loved you with all their heart in return. That only you, and that someone could ever comprehend the bond you had.
"Lex, please come back" you sobbed uncontrollably. Holding a picture while curled up in a ball under a blanket. Waiting for the only other person who knew how special a bond between a dog and their owner could really be.
"Y/N-Ah?" Sehun's familiar voice echoed through your apartment. "S-Sehun" he heard you quiet voice. He could tell what happened...
The yellow lab that always greeted him, wasn't there. Her dog toys filled her bed, and only a picture of her was rested peacefully on the dog bed.
He ran to your bedroom, and saw you. Crying, holding a picture of your best friend.
"Lexie.." You cries broke his heart. Knowing that you and Lexie were together almost 24/7 since you were young. Hurts the most.
Sehun lays down taking you into his own embrace. "It'll be okay Y/N I promise you. You can tell me anything. I'm here for you" Sehun assures you.
"Sh-She had a stroke this morning-" Before you could continue. Sehun pulled you closer.
"A-And they said she wouldn't be able.. to.to function on a daily basis.." You sobbed heavily.
"It was the right choice Y/N. You didn't want Lex to suffer, and she'll always be a part of you" Sehun tells you.
---
After hours of you telling Sehun about funny stories about Lexie. Finally Sehun saw that beautiful smile, and sweet laugh that he loved from you. "You should get some sleep Y/N-ah" Sehun smiled, and pushes the stray hairs behind your ear. "S-Stay SeSe" you mumbled tiredly.
Sehun holds you snug against his chest.
"Saranghae jagiya" Sehun whispered watching you as you sleep. He couldn't even begin to imagine how much it would hurt if he lost his own dog Vivi, and how much you must be hurting losing your childhood pet.

I honestly cried while writing this lol, dogs are my soft spot. Also not a great idea to use the name 'Lexie' because that's the name of the first dog I had to put down. So RIP my heart, and even though I lost you nearly 5 years ago R.I.P Lexie <3
