A/N: ayyyyy, I'm sorry I haven't written in over three million years. I wasn't very motivated ;w; But I worked on the story at school when I had free time in English class and in study hall. Anyway, in the last chapter, the Steven Universe reference was,"Wow, thanks," which was what Steven told Peridot to say when she got a gift.
As soon as Patton opened his eyes, he looked around to see what happened. It felt like hours had past. Wait... Did Patton fall asleep? He tried to remember what had happened. They had wrecked. He must've passed out. Patton had to see if everyone was okay.
Wait... was he okay? Patton looked down at himself. Yes. He was fine. Anxiety! Patton quickly looked over at Virgil and shook him in an attempt to wake him. His eyes slowly opened, blinking a few times. Virgil rubbed his eyes, meeting Patton's worried ones.
"Oh, my gosh, Virgil, are you okay?!" Patton asked in a panic whisper.
"Y-yeah, I think so..." he replied, looking around,"What happened?" Patton sighed.
"I think we crashed... I-is Princey okay?" Anxiety looked over at the sleeping Prince and pushed on his shoulder. Princey woke up, stretching.
"Are you okay, Roman?" Anxiety asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Roman replied, stretching, slightly confused on why Virgil would care. Patton reached over into Logan's seat and pushed on his shoulder. Logan got up instantly, searching the floor for his glasses. Once he found them, he put them on and turned around so he could see Patton.
"Are you guys all right?" Logan asked, his eyes filled with concern,"That crash was pretty horrific."
"We're fine," Roman said.
"You didn't get hurt, did you, Patton?" Logan asked.
"Oh, n-no, but... Logan! Y-your face! It's bleeding and bruised!" Logan slowly touched under his nose. He pulled his hand away from his face to see his blood covered fingers.
"I-I'm sure I'll be fine, Patton," Logan said, wiping his hand on his pants then straightening his tie.
"But what about Thomas?" Patton pointed over to Thomas. Thomas's face was on the steering wheel. Logan gently moved Thomas off of it. His face was a little bruised and cut.
"So what're we going to do? Are we still going camping?" Roman asked from the backseat.
"I guess we'll just have to stay here. There's a forest over there. That's where we'll set up camp," Logan replied, adjusting his glasses.
"What about Thomas?" Roman asked. Logic sighed.
"I suppose he will have to be carried. Roman and Virgil, carry Thomas while Patton and I unpack." Roman scoffed and Anxiety made a disgusted face.
"But I'm the prince!" Roman exclaimed, stepping out of the car with Anxiety following behind. Patton was already getting stuff from the trunk.
"I'm sorry not everyone can do everything for you. I feel so bad for you, Princey," Anxiety sarcastically said with a smirk. Roman raised an eyebrow angrily. Anxiety frowned, making fists and putting them under his eyes, as if he was crying, to mock Princey's complaining. Roman stuck his tongue out at him.
"So are you going to help me carry Thomas or not, Virgil?" The prince asked in a sassy tone. Anxiety sighed with his hands in his pockets.
"Fine, I guess." Roman grabbed Thomas from under the armpits, holding him in his arms from behind. Anxiety carried his legs.
"Logan, where do you want me to put him?" Roman asked. Anxiety rolled his eyes because Roman said me even though Anxiety was helping too.
"We just throw him on the ground and leave him to die, obviously," Virgil calmly and sarcastically stated, smirking. Roman looked at Anxiety, disgusted.
"Hold on one second there, Roman," Logic said, turning to face Patton.
"Patton, could you set up a tent quickly for Thomas, please?" Patton, holding many bags, ran off into the forest. There was two tents. A small orange, one and a big, blue one. Roman and Anxiety were going to stay in the small one while Logan, Morality, and Thomas would go in the bigger one. Patton came back quickly after he set up the tent.
"Did you set it up?" Virgil questioned tiredly.
"Yep!" Patton exclaimed in reply. Virgil made a disgusted face.
"Good." He let go and dropped Thomas then walked away carelessly. As Virgil let go of Thomas, Roman struggled to get Thomas into his arms again. He gasped.
"Anxiety!" He exclaimed, annoyed,"Logan!" Logan's head whipped around, looking blankly at an angry Roman carrying Thomas.
"He just let go of Thomas!" Roman strugglingly lifted the past out Thomas.
"Virgil, please don't throw Thomas," Logan demanded calmly. Anxiety snickered, smirking at the thought of Thomas being thrown. Roman brought Thomas to the tent that Patton had set up. He slowly set Thomas down on the sleeping bag. He frowned. Patton came inside the tent, sitting down.
"Wow!" Patton exclaimed, looking around the tent,"This is pretty in tents!" Logan groaned and Roman snickered.
"Do you think Thomas will be okay?" Roman asked, concerned. Logan cleared his throat.
"I'm sure he'll be fine once he wakes up," Logan responded.
"Well," Anxiety said, coming in the tent and sitting down,"are we going to wake him up or not?" Logan pushed on Thomas's shoulder.
"Wake up, sleepy head!" Patton yelled in Thomas's face.
"What if he doesn't wake up?" Patton asked sadly.
"Well, we're going to need him to wake up or there's a chance he could die. If you sleep with a concussion, that is." Patton gasped and put his hands on his cheeks.
"A couch cushion?!" He exclaimed, panicking. Logan furrowed his eyebrows.
"A concussion," he blankly repeated,"a clinical syndrome characterized by immediate and transient alteration in brain function, including alteration of mental status and level of consciousness, resulting from mechanical force or trauma, which would be the car crash, of course," Logan said, adjusting his glasses.
"Then why didn't you get a couch cushion?" Patton asked innocently. Logan sighed.
"It's a concu-" Logan cut himself off, pinching the bridge of his nose and sighing,"It's simple," Logan said,"I knew Roman and Virgil were being distracting and that Thomas couldn't focus. Therefore, I knew that there was a chance we would be in danger. As soon as Thomas swerved, I knew we were going to crash. Luckily, I had my seatbelt on, but, Thomas, for some reason, did not."
"That's strange," Roman added,"He always makes sure he's wearing a seatbelt." Everyone looked at Anxiety.
"What?" Anxiety asked in confusion and frustration.
"You are the one who always makes sure that Thomas double checks most things to keep him safe and secure," Logan stated. Anxiety sighed, disgusted.
"Yep, Logan's right, kiddo," Patton shrugged.
"And if you weren't fighting with me, none of this would have ever happened!" Princey spat in an angry and sassy tone. Anxiety rolled his eyes.
"Guys, stop fighting. Do you really want a chance of something bad happening again?" Logan asked, disappointed. Roman and Virgil looked guilty. Thomas rose, yawning. Everyone looked over at him in shock.
"Thomas!" Patton exclaimed, hugging him,"You're awake!" Patton let go of him, making eye contact,"I thought you were never going to wake up! Oh, my gosh, are you okay?!" Thomas looked confused, looking around at everyone around him.
"Who's Thomas?" He questioned. Everyone was in shock, confused. Thomas laughed nervously, pointing at himself.
"Am I- am I Thomas?" He stuttered, smiling uncomfortably.
A/N: This entire chapter was just Patton being oblivious and adorable, Anxiety being salty, Logan being smart af, and Roman being dramatic. That's accurate. I love all my sons.
