Chapter 26

Zeon POV

I shut my laptop after I finished purchasing our tickets to Cuba. A one way ticket for Tay and a round trip for me. She still doesn't know cause I don't know how to bring it up to her, but I'm gonna tell her now. She doesn't really have a choice in this matter, because I gotta do what I gotta do for my family.

"Babe, have you seen any of Julissa's pacifiers around? I'm missing like 5 of them." Tay said, walking into the living room.

"Nah. Come here for a second." I said. She came into the living and sat right on my lap, wrapping one arm around my neck. "I've got a surprise for you." I said. She just looked at me, not seeming very interested.

"What's this surprise? Is it good?" She asked me. It may sound good, but she'll soon find out that it's not.

"I just finished buying us tickets to Cuba. We're going to Cuba on Friday for about a week. I think it'll be a good family vacation, and you'll finally get to meet my family." I said, technically not lying.

"Stop lying Zeon. Nothing can even pull you away from work, so I know that you didn't just get up and decide that we would go on a vacation." She rolled her eyes. "Now, what did you seriously want to talk about?"

"Do I really be that focused on work?"

"Yes you are. Lately it's just been work, cone home, sleep, go to work again. We barely have sex anymore." She shrugged. I sighed and rubbed her thigh. I feel bad that I haven't been showing her the attention I should be, but I'm just working towards their safety.

"I'm sorry that I haven't been around like I should, but that's exactly why I think we need a vacation. We can spend that quality time, and I promise that when we get back, I'll be home more." I promised her. And that's a real promise, because she's not going backbone until everything is settled.

"Hmmm I'll believe your word Zeon. It's Wednesday though, I can't pack all of our stuff up in two days!"

"Better get to work then baby." I kissed her lips then smacked her ass. She let out a small moan before standing up.

"I'm gonna go to the mall then with Julissa, and I'm taking your card too." She notified me and she walked out of the living room.

"Aight, be safe!" I yelled back to her, but I know she'll be good because I have her followed and my whip got a tracking service.

"Did you tell your abuela that you're traveling?" My mom asked as she fed my baby brother, who just wanted to get out her arms and play.

"Yeah I called her. She's very excited, she started cleaning and cooking already." I shook my head and smiled. "She can't wait to meet Julissa and Tay."

"I bet. She'll love them. She's always been very fond of me, I don't think the lady has a hateful bone in her body." My mom said which I totally agree with. My grandmother has to be the most pure hearted person I know.

"When I said me and Tay are staying in a resort she started cussing me the hell out in Spanish. She ain't even let me finish talking do that she would know we're only staying there for four days, then coming to her house." I said, making my mother laugh out loud.

"That's funny. You tell Tay that she's not coming back home? I find it hard to believe she would agree to all this.

"Uh...she doesn't know all that yet. I planned on telling her closer to the end of our vacation. Only because I know she wouldn't agree to even leave if she knew the reason why. She's very stubborn."

"You're truly doing everything wrong. You're tricking your wife into going on a vacation, just to later tell her that she's not gonna be able to come back home. If it wasn't by force for y'all to stay married, you would be a single man by next week, and that's a fact. I got the right mind to whoop your ass." She scolded me.
