' So she forgave you?'

My cousin Christie walks into the office in our shop.

'Not yet but I am working on it.'

After taking the kids to the park a week ago,we returned to find a frantic Khanyi about to call the police and report her kids and I missing. The kids and I had agreed to not answering her calls because she's such a worrisome person and would cut our fun too soon. That was a bad idea,when I stepped through the door she gave me and earful about being careless and not taking into consideration of what if. I don't live my life like that I just do and whatever happens,happens. So she hasn't been really talking to me for the past week because 'I am careless'.

'She'll be dumb to forgive you after what you said about her kids.'

'She knows I didn't mean all that and if she doesn't I'll make sure she does.'

'You don't deserve a girl like Khanyi!'

'Christie what is it with you?! This is not the first time you say that shit to me and you're working on my damn nerves with that crap.'

I take my belongings,a laptop,my phone's and car keys and some paperwork to go through at home to get my tax returns in order. I pass Christie on my way out.

'It is true you do not deserve her.'

I stop and look at her,more her forehead because she is a bit shorter than I. Making her look up at me,she seems angry.

' You think! So tell me dear cousin, who deserves her?! You?!'

She moves away from the door and goes to lean by the desk with her hands folded under her breast.

'As a matter of fact yes! She deserves somebody who will treat her like a queen. Who will be proud to tell the world that she is taken by them. Somebody to show her that love is not at all bad. Somebody willing to overlook her flaws and past and love her like she deserves to be loved. Not somebody who plays with women like you.'

I look at her with disbelief,I have always known that she was into girls so that's not what shocked me. What I couldn't believe is that she has the audacity to tell me I do not deserve her and tell me she can love her better.

' The Percy who used to play women is long gone. Stop trying to be me,you can never love Khanyi better than me. I can't help but wonder if all the women you warned me about,you actually wanted for yourself...'

before I say something we both will regret, I walk out as the rest of the staff stares at me,they must have overheard our argument. I get into my bmw i8 and drive off to Khanyi's place.

As soon as she opens the door I pull her into a kiss and she kisses me back. I lift her up from the floor,walk into her house making sure to close the door with my foot before carrying her down her passage to her bedroom.

I put her down and strip her off her clothes. She is only in a t-shirt and shorts,she's never dressed when she's at home and I like it like that. She pulls me in for a kiss as I may her on the bed,ready to leave my mark.
