Chapter 2

6 Months Into Tour

Kelsey Pov

"Hey Rocky!" I exclaimed. I was currently talking to my bestfriend, Rocky Lynch. "Hey Kelsey! How's tour?" He asked smiling. I could tell something was wrong with him. "It's amazing, we are at the half way point so I'm surprising Ryland today!" I exclaimed happily. I was in my car driving with my mom, to the Lynch's house.

"How's he been?" I asked. "Um not so good actually" He murmured. "Why, what's wrong?" I asked concerned. "He changed, a lot. We think it's because he likes you" He said. Usually I would roll my eyes at that, but now I want to know what's wrong with my bestfriend.

"What do you mean my change?" I was confused. "He got really muscular, he grew out his hair, he barely talks anymore. When he does it's usually something rude. He's trying to act like a bad boy" He explained. "Is that why he hasn't talked to me for 5 months?" I asked. It's true he hasn't talked to me since I left. No Skype, no texts, nothing.

"He hasn't talked to?! He told all of us that he talked to you every single day!" He raised his voice. "Rocky, it's ok. I'm staying here for a week, and I have a surprise for all of you" I winked. "I'm here now, get everyone out back except Ryland" I explained and hung up.

"Bye mom!" I said and kissed her cheek. I got out of the passenger side along with my luggage and ran to the Lynch's backyard. I haven't been to their new band house so I'm excited to see it.

"Rocky!" I yelled and ran into his arms. Me and him were the closest after me and Ryland. "I missed you so much" I said into his chest. "I missed you too" He said into my hair. I pulled away and walked into Riker's arms. I repeated my process with him, Rydel and Ellington.

"Since you've had so many surprises for us, we have a surprise for you" Rocky smirked. He pointed behind me. Ross stood there. "Ross!" I said jumping into his arms. "You're supposed to be away filming your movie!" I exclaimed as he hugged me tighter. "I couldn't miss my bestfriend returning could I?" He smirked and I blushed.

We used to have a thing, but we decided for Ryland's sake it would be better to stay friends. And what I mean by Ryland's sake is that he got mad whenever I hung out with Ross and not him.

"Go surprise your boyfriend" He teased and I rolled my eyes. We all walked upstairs to Ryland's room and saw him lying on his bed. The Lynch's were going to stay in the hallway so I could talk to him for a little bit.

I walked into his room being quiet. "Ryland!" I shouted and he fell out of bed. "What the fu- Kelsey?!" He yelled and ran towards me. "I missed you so much" He said pulling me into his chest. Rocky was right, he did change, he wasn't a little chubby anymore, he had actual abs. "I missed you to Ry" I squealed.

"We need to talk though" I said and he sat next to me on his bed. "What's up?" He asked worried. "Why are you acting different?" I asked. I don't get why he would change. "What do you mean?" He asked. "You got all fit and shit, and you grew out your hair" I said and he shrugged.

"There's a girl? Isn't there!" I exclaimed happily. "Yea there is" He blushed and looked every where except me. "What's her name?" I asked shaking his shoulders lightly. "It's a secret" He said. "Fine" I sighed. He'll tell me when he is ready.

"C'mon let's go down stairs" I grabbed his hand and pulled him downstairs. I thought his siblings were still in the hallway, but they were actually in the living room.

"Ok guys so now time for my surprise!" I exclaimed, standing in front of everyone. "So you've guys always asked if you could come to my meet and greets, so you guys are going to be coming on tour with me!" I yelled happily. "Really?" Ryland asked. I nodded. He ran up to me and gave me a hug that lifted me off the ground. "Your the best!" He whispered into my ear and I blushed.

When we pulled away from our hug everyone looked at us shocked. "What?" Me and Ryland asked confused. "Ryland, your like being nice" Rydel said as nice as possible.

"Whatever" He rolled his eyes and pulled me upstairs. "Ryland why are you being mean?" I asked confused. "It's nothing, I'm just sick of being a good boy, I want to be a bad boy" He said. I'm still trying to understand this situation, so I didn't say anything.

"Get shaved?" He asked and I nodded. We went downstairs once again and left  the house. He intertwined his fingers with my own and pulled me down the street to Get Shaved.

"Hey can we get two orders of Rainbow Shaved Ice?" Ryland asked ignoring the flirtatious looks the cashier was giving him. "I'll pay" He winked at me and I smiled. "Thanks babe" I said kissing his cheek. I don't know why I felt so jealous about the cashier.

He looked at me with confused eyes. I shook my head, meaning I'll tell him later. He nodded and grabbed both of our orders after paying. I gave the cashier one last smirk before leading Ryland out the door.

"What was that about?" He asked handing me my shaved ice. "She was looking at you all sexual and shit" I mumbled. "Aww is little miss Kelsey jealous" Ryland smirked. "No" I lied. Maybe I was.

We walked back to his house and went inside. "Who's this?" Ryland asked. There was about a 20 year old girl in there. "This is our new neighbor" Ross said through gritted teeth. He didn't like her.

"Hey" She winked at Ryland and completely ignored me. "Hi" He waved at her with no expression. "Who are you?" She asked rudely. I raised my eyebrows at her slightly. Everyone in the room new I was about to blow.

"She's my girlfriend" Ryland said protectively. I looked at him and he gave me the look. I nodded and smirked.

"I don't believe you" She shook her head. "I don't care" I said rudely and Ryland stifled a laugh. "Well if your 'dating' kiss" She demanded. "What n-" Ryland cut me off. He looked at me with pleading eyes. "Fine, bitch" I mumbled the last part under my breath.

I turned towards Ryland, after setting our shaved ice on the table next to us. I wrapped my arms around Ryland's neck as he did to my waist. We leaned in, and our lips met. I heard the door slam shut after a few heavy foot steps.

It felt amazing kissing Ryland, maybe I do have feelings for my bestfriend. We pulled away and saw his siblings looking at us shocked. Rydel walked up to me and grabbed my hand. She pulled me upstairs to her room and shut the door behind her.

"What the hell was that?" She asked. We all know secretly she was happy that we kissed. "I don't know" I shrugged. "Do you like him?" She asked. I shrugged again. I heard some whispers outside of her door.

I gave Rydel a small hand motion to tell her that the boys were listening in on our conversation. "Rydel you can't tell anyone" I started. I guess she realized that I was just going to mess with the boys. "I promise" She said sounding very truthful.

"I think Ryland, is just really nice, and hot. And I've been thinking how he would be in bed" I said trying to stifle a laugh. "Really? I've always wondered how Ratliff was" She winked and I giggled. "Too bad they don't like us" I said opening the door. All the Lynch boys came crashing to the floor.

"You guys are idiots" I giggled along with Rydel. Ryland shot up with a smirk on his face. "I don't know, you sounded pretty convincing" He smirked. "Yea in your wildest dream" I flicked his forehead. "Rude" He chuckled.

"Yo lovers, if your gonna have sex do it once we leave the room" Rocky laughed and me and Ryland blushed. "Guys we are never going to have sex" I giggled slightly. "You never know" Ryan's whispered to me and left the room.
