"I'll miss you" Ryland whispered into Kelsey's hair. "I love you bestfriend" She said looking into her bestfriend's eyes. "I love you too" He said and kissed her forehead.
"Kelsey we have to go!" My mom shouted from our family van. "I'll see you in a year" She said giving Ryland one last squeeze. "Pinky promise?" He asked raising his pinky in front of her eyes. "Promise" She stated intertwining her own pinky with his.
She walked away, towards her van, not realizing that would be the last time she saw her real bestfriend.
