Under A Dome

Haloween

My mum visited me earlier. We talked for hours and every second something else that I had forgotten came back to me. I asked how correy was. She said that he can't wait to see me. I remembered everything except one thing and that was, what happened before my accident.

Now I don't like halloween but something told me this was going to be a good night. It was Halloween night, still One of if not  the worst night of the year. You either dress up like something scary and look like an idiot or you dress up like a slag. There's no in between. Also I hate children and when you dress them up in scary outfits I literally wanna die. Although me and Steph and Tammy had a party to go to. Well just a small gathering with some people from the boys and girls school. It wasn't like a full dress up party just come in a dress or something I put on this little number that my mum bought me last year. Lol. 

We brought some WKD'S but we wasn't planning on getting hammered well, sometimes planning doesn't always lead you to the road of success. Basically I got wasted but I can remember most things. We arrived 10 ish and most people were there. I went and spoke to a few people and loads of them said that someone had been looking for me. I acted clueless but prayed it was Correy. If it wasn't well then it would've just been some weirdo. However, I heard it was the new kid so ya know I got happy.

About halfway through I really needed a pee but the downstairs toilet was busy so I went up to the host's en suite but someone was in there as well. I was so tired so as I waited I had a little rest on the bed. Before I knew it, I was having a power nap. Haha. I woke up and to my surprise I wasn't alone. Of course the person in the toilet who just happened to be in there the minute I wanted to go was... you guessed it ... Correy. He was just sitting on the bed. Stroking my hair I think. I may have just imagined/dreamed that though.

'Sorry I probably look really creepy but I know what the boys are like at my school and one look at you asleep and drunk and they see that as an opportunity to manipulate you. I was just ... um making sure your okay but I mean.. *cough* well I wanted to talk to you but.' I interrupted him.

'Correy don't worry thank you actually I was looking for you as well we need to catch up,' I wasn't seriously drunk at this point just tipsy.

We sat there in silence for a bit. I didn't know if he felt the same way as I did. I mean I was still; In love I think.

'I haven't stopped thinking about you to be honest,' he said finally after two minutes of deafening silence.

'Me neither.'

We looked in each other's eyes for a second but then look away. For a moment again it felt like nothing had changed. Like we were the same two young children by the pier. Smiling away.

My heart was racing I was so nervous for some reason. We kind of make small talk. Then suddenly we hear a loud smash and a scream. I freak out and start to panic until correy grabs my hand and says 'it's okay I got you.' I look deep into his eyes and i think he's about to kiss me. He leans in but at that time the host runs in and frantically grabs the phone.

'What's wrong what was that noise,' I say.

The host calls 999 and explains that someone has been bottled down stairs. I start having a panic attack and I think he can tell. He wraps his arm around me and leads me outside. He walks me to the nearest bus stop and sits me down on the bench.

'Thank you,' I say.

'Don't thank me I just want to make sure you're okay.'

My body tingled and I smiled.

'Ya know Correy, you're still as sweet as ever.'

He smiles and pulls me closer. At this point my bus pulls up. Fucking hell every time. We say goodbye and I go home with a big smile on my face. Now I don't like Halloween but that night was good. It was special.
