Under A Dome

The pier

Correy is here now. As soon as he saw me he ran over and gave me the biggest hug. I missed him. We're just talking. He has told me everything. I'm mind blown that this happened. Everything makes sense now. Without correy I would be so lost. I remember up to s certain point, but nothing after that. He told me as I will tell you know but first the bits I remember.

It was the day before my 16th birthday, November 6th. Me and correy had become... closer you could say. Well we talked everyday on text. I had no plans for my birthday so he told me to meet him at the bus stop but don't bring anything because we're walking. I was confused but did what he said.

Later that day at about 7  I met him as planned. We walked for a bit when we arrived somewhere that seemed familiar but I wasn't sure where. He asked me if I trusted him. So I said 'Yes.' He got out a blind fold and stole my vision. I was thinking this was some next 50 shades of grey shit but it wasn't.

He guided me through doors and over bridges until I heard something. The sea. He unblindfolded me and we were there. At the pier. The pier where we once was years ago before he left. There was a. If sign on the door saying no entry but u guess as kids we couldn't really read it. Oh well we thought. It can't be that dangerous. We used to go there all the time. I walked in slowly and he followed. As he neared me I grabbed his hand. He took me spam me round, pulled me close and said.

'Close your eyes I have a surprise.'

'Correy you know I've always hated surprises. '

As the sun beams down on the right side of my face he leans in slowly as his soft lips touch mine sending an unbelievable feeling over my head and down my spine. We pull away and I smiled.

'Maddie. I love you.'

I froze completely.

'I really love you too.'

We kissed again and walked to the edge.

'Come on I better get you home,' he says.

'Okay let me just take one more look at the sea.'

I run over but that's where I forget everything.
So this is what correy said.

"You ran over just before we was about to leave. You meant over the edge and the. Well the wood on the edge of the pier snapped. You fell Maddie. I yelled for help and ran over, trying to save you but I couldn't see you anywhere. You don't know how scared I was. I thought I lost my world. But luckily you we're saved by some sea crew thing."

As soon as he said that something suddenly clicked.

I remembered it. How scared I was.
How much I wished I was still in Corey's embrace. I remember being in my coma state. I remember everything. Correy brought me to that pier and correy saved me.
Not on the pier at least but he reminded me of how lonely I was. In this hospital. For a whole year.
