Keiko's P.O.V.
I felt my world spin when I realized that (Y/N) was the fastest one out of the three of us. The man in front of us was able to keep up with her. I shuddered in fear, because I had the scroll and I had to keep from harm. Tadashi held my hand and gave it a squeeze. He glared at the man and made (Y/N) stand behind him. "My name is Tadashi, I am from the Leaf Village and I'm not going to let you harm them!! Back off and we'll let you live." he threatened. Tadashi was one to hesitate, but he didn't falter. I admired his bravery and kept my eye on both opponents. The man watched (Y/N) intensely, because they could keep up with one another.

Tadashi watched the woman circling around us like a vulture. Clash! (Y/N) was less than two feet in front of me, holding the man back who tried to get to me. Their kunai were pressed together as they stood less than a foot apart. My eyes widened, I didn't see the moment they moved. "Give up little girl, you're not as strong as me!" the man warned. Swiftly, (Y/N) knocked his kunai out of his hand and landed a punch to his face and kicked his abdomen as hard as she could. He stumbled backwards a couple feet before regaining his balance. He chuckled and wiped the blood seeping from his lip. "You're not as fast as me, keep your distance or else I'll kill you." (Y/N) shouted.

Tadashi and the woman didn't start their fight, but they were waiting on each other. Suddenly, my legs were trapped, I couldn't move, I was being dragged into the ground. "(Y/N)!! The scroll!!!" I screamed, throwing the scroll in the air. Without hesitation, (Y/N) jumped into the air to grab it. Tadashi lost focus and decided to help me get out of whoever's grasp. That's when he realized it too. Our eyes widened, but we watched (Y/N) land with both scrolls in her arms. "(Y/N), RUN!!" Tadashi ordered.

"(Y/N), RUN!!" Tadashi ordered. Run? My mind frantically raced as I tried to think of which direction I should run towards. As soon as I started, I was lifted up from the ground and tossed into a tree. The impact was so painful, the wind knocked out of me. I landed on the ground with a thud and I struggled to breathe. I managed to tuck the scrolls inside of my bag. Damn, we fell for it. We reacted exactly the way they wanted us to. "Give the scrolls to us and we might just spare you." the man laughed with a sinister grin. Groaning, I stood up and wiped the sweat off my forehead. "Underestimating you was our mistake, but now we see what we're dealing with. This is going to be one hell of a fight, so give it your all. Only one team is walking out of this." I stated with determined eyes.

Tadashi and Keiko were back on their feet and scanning the area for vantage points. We have to make it out of this alive, at all costs. I wasn't concerned about becoming a Chunin anymore. I want to live, grow up with Minato and help him through life. I couldn't afford to lose everything here.

Tadashi's P.O.V.
After the big fight, (Y/N) wasn't waking up. She wasn't dead, but she wasn't conscious. We made sure that the enemy wouldn't escape after we tied them up in a tree. (Y/N) used up most of her chakra to defeat the man that wanted to harm us. Keiko and I had a hell of a time fighting the girl. "We're close, I can see the building" I informed Keiko. She nodded and started to walk faster. I ignored the ache my arms were feeling. We had to make it to the next stage. Fortunately, we made it through the forest with no other problems. As soon as we walked through the doors, the proctors ripped (Y/N) out of my arms and rushed her to the medical team.

She still didn't budge. We were ordered to go home and get some rest. In two days, that's when we'll all fight one another. There's even a possibility that we'll go against one another. I just hope we make it.

The pounding in my head had me wincing as I sat up. Slowly my eyes fluttered open. I'm in the hospital, great. "I'm glad you're finally awake." a voice calmly greeted. I didn't even notice he was here. I smiled softly when I made eye contact with those bright blue eyes. "Hey, I'm sorry" I apologized with a sheepish smile. "Don't apologize (Y/N), I should be the one apologizing to you. I'm glad you're okay. I came as soon as I heard it was you. I brought you these flowers. The doctor said you're able to fight tomorrow. So that's good." Minato commented.

"They said villagers can watch, will you be there?" I asked. His answer was everything I hoped. "Of course, I wouldn't miss it!" Minato promised. Soon after, the doctor discharged me and allowed me to go home. Minato made dinner and asked questions about what happened in the forest. Everything I experienced made me worry about his transition once he graduates from the academy. He told me all about my former classmates and a girl that recently moved here. Her name is Kushina and she's been bullied a lot. Of course, Minato stands up for her a lot and I'm glad he does. "I'm really sorry for everything that happened (Y/N). I don't want us to grow distant again." Minato confessed. I agreed. "Promise we'll be friends forever?" I asked with my pinky extended. "I promise. Let's also vow to never intentionally hurt one another" he added. With that, the promise was made. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
