"Pregnant?" Angelica screamed, breathing heavily. Eliza put a hand on her back and rubbed it calmingly. "I- I can't be pregnant! I'm- I'm on the pill, Thomas uses condoms, I-"
"Angelica, you probably aren't," Eliza cut off. "Maria why would you think that?"
"Mornings sickness? Sensitivity to coffee? Craving for pickles? Come on." Maria scoffed as Susan started crying, picking up her daughter and rocking her. "I'm just saying the pill isn't one hundred percent and, well, condoms break."
"But, oh my gosh what am I going to tell Thomas- I can't be-" Angelica started freaking out again but Eliza once more cut her off.
"Ange, hold on. Is your period still regular?"
"I mean I should be getting it- Today. That's normal, right? I could still be-" Angelica once again ducked out of the room and the sounds of her vomiting could be heard from the kitchen.
"I really hope I'm not. I just got in a good place with Thomas. This might put a slight titch in our relationship."
"Just a titch?" Asked Eliza. Angelica glared at her.
"I- I did everything right, though. We cover up, I'm in the pill, I'm very careful. I'm not like those girls who-"
"Like me?" Maria asked quietly. Ange's hand flew to her mouth as she stuttered.
"No, I just mean, I did everything right. You weren't-"
"I was, thank you very much, I've had an IUD for three years now. The reason I have Susan is from one night. One night James didn't- the point is, one night can make a huge difference. And I'm very thankful I have Susan!" Maria added in a huff, "She's the best thing that ever happened to me!"
"Maria, wait-" Maria slammed the door and Eliza sighed, rounding on Angelica.
"You just had to poke at her, didn't you?" She threw her hands in the air and stormed off to the kitchen.
Angelica sat down on the couch and put her head in her hands. Her brain was flooding with shame, how could she do that to Maria? Maria had always been there for her, and she had just called her careless.
"What's wrong, Ange?" Jefferson asked, making Angelica jump.
"Nothing. I just don't feel well."
"That's okay, you're allowed to not feel well." Jefferson held her in his arms, rocking her slowly.
Upstairs, Peggy sat up, breathless. Hercules was next to her, in exactly the same state.
       "We've gotten good at that."
       "Yes."
"Wanna go downtown and freak people out?"
     "Yes."

Meanwhile, at the fraternity down the street Alexander and John were sitting on the couch. Alex stared into John's eyes, staying completely still. John held eye contact, not blinking once. They both kept their eyes wide, neither making a sound. The house was silent.
That is, until Aaron walked in. He took in the scene and and his eyes rolled uncomfortably, his teeth bared in an awkward gesture. The other men sat, still staring soulfully on the sofa. Finally, Alex blinked and John jumped up.
"Ha! Hahaha!" He laughed, dancing. "I win! I told you I could- uh, not blink," he paused, wondering where he was going with this. Then, he picked up his momentum again, "longer than you!"
       "Whatever, I can still-"
"This is what you do with your time?" Aaron asked incredulously. "Don't you have to study?"
"Ha! Please." Alex rolled his eyes.
"This is the infamous Alexander 'Nonstop' Hamilton? Two months ago you came out of your room once a week. God dammit man." Aaron left, fuming. Alex just had whatever he wanted. He always got his way. He studies all the time? Wow, perfect grades! Boyfriend comes back to town? Why not! Starts slacking off? That's okay, no way anything bad is going to happen to him!
Of course, Aaron was very happy with everything that he was doing, but he was always second best. In grades, socially, the only place he succeeded was financially, and that was his parents money. Needing an outlet, he called Theodosia.
"Hello, Aaron?" Came his girlfriend's voice?
"Theo! Do you want to go out? Right now?"
       "R-right now? Why?"
"I just need to get out of the house. Alex is pissing me off. We can go to that place you like, what is it? Knights. We can go there. Just please, can we go?"
"Sure, let me put some clothes on. I just got out of the shower. Can you pick me up?"
"You don't have to put clothes on-"
"Aaron! Pick me in ten." Theodosia laughed to herself, hanging up. Aaron always let that Alex boy get to him. He tried to remain calm, never letting it show "Talk less, Smile more" he always said. Theo worried for him, because he didn't have a safe outlet. Sure, they would talk about it, but not as thoroughly as he needed.
She looked at herself in the mirror. The jean jacket she had covered her arms, down past her wrists. She had a black tank top on, tucked into a pair of leather shorts. Her denim boots snaked up her leg, contrasting her milk chocolate skin tone. She looked at the denim choker on her dresser, which she had not worn since that fateful day. Her neck began to ache at the memory. That alley, the empty streets, the club music pulsing behind her.
She began to breathe heavily, sitting down on the bed. The sound of a gunshot echoed loudly through her head. A tear slid down her cheek, followed by a flood of more. She was so lost in thought she didn't here the door open.
Aaron Burr wandered aimlessly into Theo's apartment, which she shared with two other girls. Theodosia had been out of college for nearly a year and half, being two years older than Aaron (the same age as Angelica). She usually sat in the living room, soaking up sun. He looked around the house, coming to her bedroom door. He knocked tentatively, calling out. When there was no answer, he went in. Theodosia was sitting in the corner, tucked into a ball.

Hello, Loves! More of a side character chapter, I don't want to under develop side characters, like some authors. I don't want to mention names Stephanie Meyers- whoops. Anyway... I thought this was an accurate take on Aaron Burr, but let me know what you think. Below are pictures of how I imagine Theodosia and Burr.
