The Two Footer

Sara shows up at practice with her new 2000 dollar english saddle and her fancy bridle. She  has begun practice and it is finally time to jump. They jump the one foot jump, and then the one and a half, and it is time for the two footer! The first girl, Lexi goes, and falls off her horse,who spooked at the jump. Then, DeEtte goes, and jumps perfect. Then, kodale is up, and the knocks the jump. Next ellie goes, and her horse just steps over the jump. Addie goes, and her horse clears, but charges the jump. I'm next. I approach the jump, and my horse jumps as high as she can and clears the jump. I land it beautifully. Carrie sue let's us jump a few more times,  and gives us some water. We practice our hunt seat equitation pattern and practice going great.  I look over and see mickinlie's dog chasing the horses in the arena! Mickinlie decides to start jumping too. She is carrie's daughter. She has to ride bareback at first do to lack of saddles to use. Lexi falls off again riding western at the rodeo in the grand entry and starts to become discouraged and doesn't want to ride her 27 year old horse Tony.  She falls, and gets up, and gets back on. Then a new girl, mackenzie joins, and she is super cocky. She claims to be the best, and tells everyone else that they suck.  "Wow Sara! You finally cleared the first jump, I however, never knock a rail, but you are too broke to afford a real jumper" mackenzie says. Sara glares and leaves the arena along with everyone else. Carrie screams at mackenzie, and then mackenzie leaves. (The next chapter will be from mackenzie's point of view)
