Definitely Unexpected of him:

Well. Today's Saturday. The day of my birthday is yet again here. I yawn loudly and then scratch my head. "Well, here I go" I jump out of bed and race into my closet to find something to where, however, I don't really find any dresses to wear, so I wear my regular white shirt with denim jeans with small holes on each knee, which means the knee shows. At least that shows the inner wolf in me, right? Think of it as, wolf pride, it makes it make more sense for a wolf as a human's birthday party in this occasion. Then as I race to the kitchen, I see dad making me chopped up fish. Luckily, a few months before today, he finally found a house we could all live in. He turns around and smiles at me, "Oh, hi Okami, I didn't see you there! I'm making your favorite" I smile back, "Hello dad, good morning, and yes, I can see that" I laughed a little but then sat down to eat. After a few minutes pass, I dash outside, despite how my father told me not to and tried to stop me when I ran. "Hey guys, I'm here!" I shouted as I dashed over to the party destination. If your a wolf, your senses are the best thing to have when it comes to navigation, and curiosity. Then I stopped and smiled when I saw how beautiful my party looked. There were banners, there were balloons, there were flowers, it felt just like our home in nature, and the best part was, this party was gonna be held in the most beautiful park! It has a crystal lake, plenty of tall trees, bushes, and everything you can imagine to make nature look so beautiful, that's what made me happy. Madeline turns around and sees me and then jumps a little in surprised. "Oh! Okami! That was quick" she said in her usual soft voice. "Well, I guess I was kinda excited for my birthday so I rushed to get here" I laughed a little. Then everyone else saw me and greeted me. "Okami!" "There's our birthday girl!" " 'ello princess, how are you this morning?" "I'm good, but mostly excited for my birthday!" "Us too! And your guests are coming soon too!" I stood still and stared shocked. "Guests?" "Yeah, you know, the adorable little Sasu and her stupid, but I guess funny older brother Akimitsu" oh.....my.......god.....I almost forgot Akimitsu was coming. I frowned as I slouched upsetly. "Right, him..." then after a while of preparing more props and such, Madeline comes over to me with a wrapped. box. "Hi sweetheart, I've got a present for you! It's from your dear father and friends who worked real hard to make it" she handed it to me with her sweet smile as I took it from her curiously. I looked at it carefully as I turned it, flipped it, and sniffed it. Then I decided to open it since I couldn't really pick up the sense of what it could be. When I did, I held my hand to my mouth surprised as I looked at the thing before me. "You like it?" It was a beautiful tiara made from small branches that were neatly tied together with flowers planted all around it in a pattern. "Go on, put it on my dear" Madeline smiled. I placed it on my head and then went to a mirror to see how I looked. I couldn't believe it. I looked absolutely, without a doubt beautiful! It made me wonder what everyone else would think of my new crown. "Oh! Okami! You look so adorable! We must show everyone at once!" She grabbed my arm and ran with me back to the party. When we arrived, it seemed Akimitsu and Sasu were the first human guests to arrive. Well geez, that was early! Maybe poor Sasu begged her big brother to hurry up more because she wanted to come to my party early, awww. Then Madeline waves her hands and shouts, "Everyone! The birthday girl's here and she's wearing her new beautiful crown we made her!" She holds on to my shoulders while standing from the side of me as I just stare nervously to the crowd. "Hi everyone, I'm....here...." I waved to them. Then they all took off at me and hugged me tightly, also commenting on my crown. "Wow!" "You look so cute!" Then my dad ran up to hug me, "Beautiful, my wonderful princess" then after hugging him back, I looked back at the crowd and see Akimtsu holding his sister's hand. Then he looked back at me and stuck his tongue out at me! "Big brother!" I just slightly glared at him annoyed and stuck my tongue back out at him. After a while, the rest of my human guests came, like Akihiko came, along with one or two other students from my school. "Hi Akihiko! and a hello to you guys too" Madeline shoke all their hands as they smiled at her and greeted her back. After a while of partying and dancing on the green grass, then Madeline came by to me at the Punch bowl. "Say Okami, I forgot to tell you, In this park, there's this special quiet place where most of the most beautiful trees and flowers are with a white bench and other animals like us are! expect their in their actual animal forms, luckily, they weren't discovered yet" "Really? Wow! It sounds so amazing" "Yep, if you and your friends want to visit it, your more than welcome to, why don't you bring Akimitsu and Sasu along with you to visit that place?" "I can see why Sasu but why Akimitsu?" I frowned a little angrily. She just sighed worried and then said, "Well, I do believe he might like the place, I'm not really sure why" "This is because you guys want to see a happily ever after with me and him, isn't it?" "Uh, no..." she said slowly. I just sighed and then answered her, "Well, I guess I could, but only because I know he'll come along with his sister, even If I told him she'll be fine with me..." I really frowned while grinding my teeth and looking away on the last part." Then after I invited him and Sasu, we all ran over to the place Madeline explained to me. "Race you guys!" he smirked and then laughed annoyingly as me and Sasu just angrily shouted at him to slow down and wait for us. When we got there, it was exactly like Madeline said. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! And it did have the most gorgeous flowers and trees in Japan, in fact, it looked like the most beautiful place in Japan! And if there's another thing Madeline was right about it's that thank goodness that this forest wasn't discovered yet by mankind, the ones that destroy all of our stuff. hmm. Now I suddenly, but slightly, regret letting Akimitsu come along. "Oh my gosh! This part of the forest is so beautiful!" Sasu said in her sweet, adorable child voice with sparkles in her eyes. "Yeah, this actually pretty for a place in a forest, in a city like Tokyo..." Akimitsu commented with a proud smile. Then after looking at the place a while, we all sit down and rest, until Akimtisu suddenly calls me. "Yeah?" "Stand up" "Excuse me?" "Stand up!" He shouted as he blushed as he looked at me seriously. "Okay, geez, calm down" I stand up and face him as Sasu looked at the both of us concerned. "I...." "You?" He takes a while but then throws a present in front of him, presenting it to me while trying to hide his face. "Akimitsu? What's tha---?" "Just take it and open it already!" he shouted again. Geez, why's he so flustered for? Then as I take the present and open, I stare at it surprised. It was a T-shirt with a picture of a forest at night time with a beautiful galaxy sky! It was so beautiful! I couldn't believe he actually got me this! I looked at him with a slight blush as he looks at me and then looks away. "Well? Like it or not?" He asked seriously. "uh, I....." I hesitate a minute and then realize this is why he asked what I liked. He wanted to know what to get me. I flashed back a little and then looked at him a little happy, but serious too. "I love the present, thank you Akimitsu..." I said with my eyes closed and smiling as I hug the gift a little too. Then he looked at me and slightly smiled as Sasu smiled at us cutely. "So, that's what that was..."

"hey big brother, what's that?" 
"This? Uh, nothing"
"Come on, what is it?"
"It's nothing! It's just something for Okami!"
"Okami?"
"Yes! Now go to bed!" 
"Is it something special?"
"No! None of your business!"
"Is this the thing you asked Okami about earlier this morning?"
"Goodnight Sasu!!!" 

"He was just being shy about his feelings, huh? Akimitsu never learns, does he?"
