Throughout the whole morning, I just stayed silent and still. When going to school, everyone kissed me goodbye, like usual and I would hug them goodbye. On my drive to school, I didn't feel as chatty with the government today. "Ms. Fukushima, are you alright?" I just nodded and continued looking out the window. Man. This is starting all over again. How will I react with the students snd teachers now? I hope I don't act different, but it's hard not to after that day. When I got to school, surprisingly, I was normal to my classmates and teachers, which made me relieved. However, there were times were Akimitsu bothered me asking about that day. It went on for a couple of weeks, but today was a real bother. In the very beginning of class, he came up to me and asked, "Okami, why were you at my house that day?" I just ignored him like I didn't even hear him at all. "Okami?" Again I ignored him, "Okami..." again, "OKAMI!" "Akimitsu SHUT IT! I don't want to talk to you" his eyes went shocked as I continued writing like he wasn't there. "Okami!" then after a while, he finally left me alone. For a while until lunch. He came up to where I was and then sat far away from me and Sasu while eating their lunch, however, when going to their spot, he left Akihiko alone for a minute to bother me about it again. "Okami, come on! what did I do?" I continued eating like I didn't hear him. "Ms. Okami? What's wrong? Why are you mad at big brother?" Sasu asked me in her cute voice. Her, I can't just say no to so I quietly say under my breath, "Let's just say I'm hurt from something important..." "Something important?" she says in her soft tone before turning to Akimitsu. "Big brother, she was at our house a few weeks back while you were talking with Daddy, right?" "Yeah, but, first off, that eavesdropping wasn't any of her business to do, so that's on her, secondly---" "Big brother if you said something hurtful I promise you I will---!" "Sasu! No!" I shot up and looked at her serious. "Ms. Okami?" then I smiled at her sadly, "It's okay Sasu, let me deal with your brother, an innocent child like you doesn't deserve to get involved..." then I glared at Akimitsu as he stares at me confused. "Akimitsu, we'll talk later, but not now..." then I sat back down and continued eating my lunch as everyone else did so too. Sasu talked with me about stuff in her class like about a funny teacher-embarrasses-student moment that involved a person they liked. So you could probably imagine how that student's feeling right now. After school ended, Akimitsu and Sasu ran up to their father and he told him, "Dad, we need to talk to a student we know for now, so we'll be home later" "Are you sure?" "Yes dad, we'll be home later, just go to work or whatever and we'll be there by the time you probably come back." "well, okay, but you better keep you and your sister safe, you hear?" "Yeah dad," Then the long black car drives away and the two run up to me. "Ms. Okami? good, you're still here..." "Of course I am," "huh?" they both look at me confused. "follow me" I directed them to the school ground where most of the students chat, hang out, eat lunch, or play whatever they normally play. "Okay Okami, now tell us, tell me, why are you avoiding us so much lately? what did I do?" then I looked up at him, but with a serious face. "You wanna know what you did? hmm, let's see, are you apart with your dad in hating nature?" they both of them stare surprised at me as I continued, "Are you in agreement with him to think that killing and destroying nature is alright for commercial construction? Do you!? Cause even I ain't stupid to know that exactly a mistake that man makes, likely their sons will make too, cause both have one thing in common, pride....their dangerous, heartless pride....Is that what you are!? Akimitsu!?" then Sasu looks at me and Akimitsu upsetly. "You don't actually hate nature, do you big brother? you used to love it!---" "Of course I don't!" he cutted her off. "Then tell me......why would you allow your father to do such a thing?" he looked at me surprised, and then looked at me serious. "We can't control him..." then it was my turn to become shocked. "what are you taking about!? he's your human dad, I'm the one that can't control any of you humans! Not after last time where one of the yellow construction machines scraped my leg deep and I had to rap it up for a long time!" I shouted by accident. Luckily I was able to take it off a year back when it happened but it took months for that wound to heal. Akimitsu and Sasu stared at me horrified as Sasu looked like she was gonna cry, "Someone at daddy's job hurt you!? who was it!?" "Seriously? but your a human girl! I don't understand why they would---!" "Thanks for your concern Akimitsu and Sasu, but I'm not..." "huh?" they both look at me surprised/worried. "I think it's time I told you....I already revealed to you by accident once, so I might as well, besides, it's getting dark and late, which means it'll be happening very soon" "reveal what? and what happen soon?" Sasu asked. "you'll see" Is all I told them as I stared into the sky, waiting for it to become nighttime. when it did, I stepped into a moonlight that shined a little bit near the two of them. Then, when the light started to shine bright, I stood, waiting for my transformation. Strong wind started blowing all around me, and Akimtsu and Sasu a little too, when finally, everything calms down and the two look at me. both of them stare very shocked as my ears and tail flew with the soft wind and glowed with my white hair and body under the moonlight. "Akimitsu....what you saw that day was real...." He continued looking at me shocked while blushing a little, "I'm not a human, I'm a wolf..."
Sasu smiled widely as tears of happiness rolled down her little cheeks. "Yay! I knew there was something special about you Ms. Okami! Now we're not alone!" "Not alone?" I asked while steping closer towards them, "What do you mean 'now we're not alone'?" Sasu smiled at Akimitsu and nodded. Then Akimitsu looked back at me and said, "Your not the only one in hiding..." "huh?"
