Tasha woke up in an empty building. The room was plain, but very unlike anything back home, one example that stood out was the door was nothing more than wooden slats tied together by frayed rope. She brushed some of her brown hair out of her eyes and then looked down and studied her outfit: a knee-length tunic that was dyed a light green and leather sandals that had straps that stopped mid-calf. Spying her black cloth bag sat in a corner, she stood and walked over before picking it up and inspecting the inside. The rough bag held random objects that ranged from small edibles to random cosmetics and a few unrecognizable coins.

She hoisted the bag so the strap was resting across her chest and the bag sat on her hip. Tasha pushed open the door and when she saw what was outside, her mouth gaped as she struggled to take in the rich abundance of color and splendorous architecture.. Outside of the single roomed hut was a Greek metropolis, pillars supporting intricate carvings, the smell of the ocean floating on the small breeze, the art that was so proudly displayed across the plazas; it was overwhelming at first. The one thing that caught her attention though was the people., Out of all of them, only one or two were completely human, at least based on the way the looked. There were centaurs, nagas, satyrs, minotaurs, harpies, gods and goddesses of every worldly worshipable entity, heroes and monsters of every era and tale. Next her eyes were drawn to to the buildings; they all seemed to be built from gold, silver and gems of every color in the spectrum. Standing with great detail were pillars chiseled from marble and onyx. All the city seemed to glow with wealth and with something that felt other worldly.

Tasha let out an awe filled and essentially incoherent, rambling sentence as she made her way through the city. On her way she met all sorts of people. Some were pleasant like the kindly and knowledgeable Athena, whom had helped her find her way to the pier next to an endless sea, Others were like the joyful group of people called muses, who were rather entertaining and Tasha had joined in merry making and music playing and other things of the like with them.Even though Tasha had the nagging feeling that she needed to get back soon had no idea which book she was in, she ignored it, because how often did enjoy herself.

Eventually leaving the group, Tasha had started looking for whatever book she was in. The sooner she found it, the sooner she could get out of the story or in this case  compilation of stories. However, this would prove harder than she originally thought, as she wasn't entirely sure of which exact book she was in. She wandered around aimlessly for quite some time and had let her mind drift and her feet carry her to wherever and being the epitome of grace she is, she tripped over her own feet. Tasha yelped, but before she met the ground, two arms caught her. As her fear of falling wore off, she was able to pry her forest green eyes open and look up at her savior through her short and messy bangs.
