Chapter 27- test

YOOJUNG POV

today is the last day of rehearsals before the performance.

 Did I feel bad Doyeon being sick? no.

 Do i feel bad that she missed playing the main role of her favourite play? no.

This was one of my only chances and I took it. I did it for myself and not anyone else. 

I guess you could say that taking her role was one of the best ideas I've had.

 I've gotten so much closer to Daniel and I know that he's developing feelings for me. He just hasn't said anything yet.

First up is biology today, I honestly don't feel too well at all, I am still sick.

 maybe if I stayed home like Doyeon, I'd get better. But being able to be at school with all my friends without Doyeon and the attention being on her, was worth not resting.

I walked into class with jihoon after discussing our plans for after the play. we're planning a sleep over at his house after the play is done. i loved his house.

we walked in and saw that Seonho is sitting where I usually sit, which is next to Daniel. Meaning I wouldn't be sitting with Daniel today.

SEONHO POV

I messaged Daniel to come to class early today because I needed to talk to him. I went to class and waited for him to arrive.

"Hey Seonho! What did you want to talk about?" He spoke.

"Hey Daniel uhh sit down.." I said

"You see... I have a crush on Yoojung and I really like her so I was wondering if I could sit next to her instead of you??" I said to Daniel hoping that as a man, he'd understand how I feel. 

"Look... uhh you can sit there but..I can't help it if she comes to me." Daniel said in a serious tone.

I guess my suspicions were right, he really does like her. But what about Doyeon..?

We were interrupted when Yoojung walked in with jihoon.

YOOJUNG POV

We were sitting in biology as usual and I couldn't easily talk to Daniel since he wasn't sitting next to me, so I couldn't stop thinking of my plans to get Daniel to like me.

"Daniel need help?" I said making eye contact for him to say yes 

"Uhh sure yeah" he replied confused.

I went to the other side of the table, pulled out a chair and sat next to him.

Jealousy always works right? Maybe if Daniel gets jealous, then he'd have the courage to tell me his feelings. 

"Thanks for letting me sit here, Seonho was staring at me a lot lol" I told him, it came out as a whisper.

Daniel looked at me suprised.

We continued to do our work.

At recess everyone was in the cafeteria eating snacks and talking. 

I took a while at my locker. I knew Daniel would wait for me. And he did.

I closed my locker. "Oh hey Daniel" I said, acting suprised.

He waved and we walked to the cafeteria.

"Do you reckon Seonho likes me?" I blurted out, I wanted to see Daniels reaction.

"I'm not too sure.... how would you feel if he did??" He asked me.

"I don't know... I mean he is cute" I said pretending to be shy while talking  about Seonho. 

Daniel stayed calm but I knew he was covering up so that he wouldn't look too triggered, he fixed his shirt collar and we walked into the cafeteria.

DANIEL POV

"I don't know... I mean he is cute" Yoojung said to me, and she sounded really shy too. 

I wondered if she would act that way if anyone asked her about me.

I couldn't help but feel protective, she's so small and cute. I want to be the one to take of care of her.

 I knew I had to sort out my feelings quick before Seonho does anything.

 But I'm not sure what I have to do...i have the tomorrow's play to think about.
