Chapter 15

I sat down and finally Greg turned around and his hand flew up to his mouth.
"O my God Teylie!" He said coming close to me but his Father stood between us.
"No Greg not now!" Dexter said looking at him.
Greg's eyes were big. Yip, you did this to me.
"Alright now. Can someone please tell me what happened!" Dexter said sitting down.

Greg was talking until he got to the part when I said Jack's name. As I was about to talk my phone rang.
I looked and I saw it was the hospital. O no no Jake.
"Excuse me I need to take this!" I said and answered my phone.
Dr Jackson: Teylie, Jack is asking for you hun!

Me: I will be there as soon as possible. Tell him to hang on!

Dr Jackson: Alright I will do so.

"Can one of you take me to Miami Hospital now please!" I asked the two Mr Smits.
They both said they would come with me.
I didn't want to argue I just need to go.
We arrived at the hospital and I jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped. Greg was driving and so he can drive without slamming on brakes and putting foot.

"I was called by Dr Jackson!" I said to the nurse.
"Teylie I am over here!" Dr Jackson called me. I ran to him.
"What's wrong!" I asked.
"He wanted you to sing for him!" He said looking to the floor.
I put my hand over my heart.
"And you couldn't tell me that over the phone!" I said harshly.
"Sorry Teylie. He said he wouldn't take his medicine until you sing for him!" Dr Jackson said scratching his neck.
"O ok let me go in!" I said. I didn't even know that Greg and Dexter were next to me the whole time.

"Tey!" Jack looked happy when he saw me. His Dad sighed.
"Thank you Tey!" Jack's dad said.
"No problem!"
"Tey, they want me to take that yuk medicine!" Jack said pulling a face.
"Alright little man!" I said running his cheek with my nose.
"Hey, what happened to your head Tey?" Jack asked looking at me head.
"O I fell Jack!" I lied but I don't want Greg to get into trouble. I want him to but deep down I don't. I know he can be a better person.
"O silly Banana!" Jack said shaking his head.
We all laughed at Jack. Jack looked at Greg and then me again.
"Are you Tey's boyfriend?" Jack asked looking at Greg, who was standing by the foot of the bed.

After I have explained to Jack and Dexter were he was happy.
"Okay Tey please sing my song!" He looked at me with puppy eyes.
"Have you heard my song?" Jack said looking at Greg and Dexter and they both shook their heads.
O God, please let this floor swallow me!
"Then stay and listen!"
"O Jack I think they are busy!" I said wiping his hair out of his eye!
"No we not busy!" Greg said and Jack smiled.
"Please Tey, sing for him now before it is too cold to give to him!" Dr Jackson said.
I nodded and took a deep breath in.

Like a small boat
On the ocean

Like how a single word
Can make a heart open
I might only have one match
But I can make an explosion

And all those things I didn't say

And I don't really care if nobody else believes

After I sang Jack took his medication.
"Thanks Tey!" Jack said looking at me.
I felt two eyes staring at me. I looked and I saw Greg looking at me shocked. He smiled at me and I can't be angry at that smile. So, I smiled back at Greg.
"Greg, Tey is my best friend. Is she your friend, since you not her boyfriend?"
"Well, Jack I hope I am her friend?" He said looking at Jack and then back at me.
"Tey! Please be Greg's friend!" Jack said. God why is Jack being his friend. As I said that to myself, I looked at Greg and he was smirking at me.
Arg!
"Yes, I am his friend!" I said sighing.
Dexter chuckled and tapped Greg's shoulder.

We were in the car on our way to Greg's place.
"Teylie you have a wonderful voice!" Dexter said looking at me.
"O thank you, but I don't think so?" I said looking at my fingers.
I looked up and there in the rearview mirror was Greg's eyes.
I quickly looked away and that made him smile.
We arrived and we climbed out.
"Tey, I would like to invite you and my son to come with me to Australia next week!" Dexter said. Both Greg and I shot our heads up to Dexter.
"For a new Firm there and she is your accountant. Isn't she?" Dexter said looking at Greg.
Greg nodded.
"Well then the plane leaves on Sunday but I want you two there on Saturday!" Dexter said and then he climbed out. Leaving Greg and myself dumbfounded.

So now Greg knows that Teylie can sing and now they are leaving on Sat? What do you think will happen when they are in Australia?
