~10 minutes later~

Laura's POV

"Who do you call when you're in trouble? Riker Lynch! Riker Lynch!" Vanessa kept on singing and singing and dancing all around in public.

Ugh.

Vanessa shut up already! I can't sleep!

What's the point..

What's the point of anything anymore..

Considering what happened to me these past few days, there's really no reason to live anymore..

If we never had that stupid PARTY then my parents would still be ALIVE!

I blame myself for being me.

"Ooh Ooh! Riker! You're here!" Vanessa exclaims when she sees him pull up in our Aunt's driveway.

"Hah, ok. Just get in the car beautifuls." Riker responded as Van and I hopped into the car.

I could hear the sound of the motor..

Vroom! Vroom..

Almost like I almost lost my heart the other day.

"So, what do you guys think of my band?" Riker questions us, making me feel awkward and embarrassed inside.

All these words kept on popping in and out of my brain. I couldn't say anything bad even though the only words coming into my brain were bad..

Luckily, Vanessa breaks the silence by saying, "you guys are truly talented!"

No.

"Thanks, Hey, what do you know? We're here already!" Riker motions to his house, while smiling.

"Oh, boy..." I say, trying to sound as real as possible.

"And, Ross is your age. Maybe you guys will make good friends!" Riker cries happily.

"I'm speechless.. Seriously I am." I respond back with an attitude.

I don't have an attitude against them I just...

Ok, fine.

I do.

Don't badger me.

Riker opens the door, and right away I see 4 people staring at us.

"Who are the chics?" Rocky asks Riker.

"This is Vanessa. My girlfriend. Vanessa this is Rocky, Ryland, Rydel and Ratliff." Riker responds nonchalantly with no awkward silence at all.

"Hey!" Rydel, Ratliff, Rocky, and Ryland say in unison.

"Hey, where's Ross?" Riker asks them, confused.

"He went clubbing with Maia." Rydel responds.

Riker's POV

I hate Maia. She is so freaking rude.

But, that's my opinion.

"Okay, and who's this hottie that might become my next girlfriend?" Rocky questions Riker, taking Laura's hand and kissing it.

"Um, I'm Laura. Also, no. I have a boyfriend." Laura replies sternly.

"Babe, don't be like that," Rocky tries to kiss Laura's neck with all his siblings and Vanessa right in front of him.

"Rocky, if you don't take your hands off of me right now, you won't have hands." Laura tells Rocky.

Rocky gets scared and quickly takes his hands off Laura.

"Um, I'm just going to watch a movie..." Rocky tells them.

"Really? By yourself?" Ryland asks Rocky.

"Yes. That's how I roll, duh." Rocky tells everybody, then runs out of the room.

"He always does that when he likes a girl." Riker blurts to Laura.

"And he likes who?" Laura questions 4/5 of R5.

Everyone just stares at Laura, strangely.

"Rrriiighht." Laura circles her face with her finger.

"So, when are we going to meet Ross?" Vanessa inquires them simultaneously.

"He should be back with Maia in about an hour." Ratliff replies to Laura.

"So, why are you guys living here? You guys seem AWESOME, but what happened?" Rydel asks Laura and Vanessa.

Laura starts tearing up and covers her face with her hands.

"It's really private information, but that was their old life, they're starting a new one here in California." Riker utters to Rydel.

"Oh ok. Sorry, Laura!" Rydel puts her hands up in surrender.

"Awh, Laur come here." Vanessa takes Laura in a hug. She mouths to Rydel, "I'll tell you later."

Rydel mouths back, "Okay."

"2 more beers please." Ross tells the guy working at the counter.

"okay, here you go. One for you, and one for the hottie in the tanktop."

As soon as the guy said that, he became unconscious with Ross's fist to his face.

"Haha, I tried for 2 years to get you to drink, now I've finally got what I've wanted." Maia tells Ross, putting her fingers up his shirt, feeling his abs.

"What can I say? You make me crazy babe." Ross responds to Maia, with a lick to her cheek.

"Oh, babe. Let's go to your house. Hopefully nobody will be home." Maia blurts to Ross, with her breath on his face.

Ross doesn't say anything after that, he just passes out on the club floor.
