Chapter 16

It was the next morning, a nice and mellow sunny day in Hollywood. The birds were singing their favorite tune to sing in the morning, R5 was sound asleep in their own beds but Laura was starting to wake up.

Laura's POV
As I was starting to open my eyes, I looked around at all of the R5 posters in front of me. There was one from when they played a show in Colorado, their home town. There was one from when they played New Jersey, and there was one from when they played my home town. I'm not about to break down though, don't worry. "Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery." But, today is a gift so it's called the present. Let's just worry about the present we've received today.

I feel like I've became so powerful ever since yesterday, like I can overcome anything my mind wants to accomplish.

Wait, but where is Vanessa?

I grabbed my bunny slippers and headed out the door. Where could Vanessa be? Wait, I knew just exactly where she would be. I knocked on Riker's door and I heard two voices tell me to "come in", so I did.

"Hey sis! During the middle of the night Riker popped in and asked me if I wanted to sleep with him so I said yes, but don't take it the wrong way, if you know what I mean." Vanessa tells me, wondering if I got what she was hinting at, and I did.

"No, don't worry, you're only 17. I trust you sis. Anyway, who wants to go out for some breakfast? I saw this really cool diner a few blocks away from here." I smile to them, wondering if they would care to join me.

"What kind of people would we be if we didn't join you? Come on!" Riker runs down the stairs and grabs his keys.

"But, wait. We're in our pajamas. 😹" I tell him, wondering if he bothered to notice.

"It's a diner, come on!" Riker shouts, but not too loudly that he would wake the others up.

And I know just how LOUD they can get.

"Damn, I should've ordered the smaller portion. These pancakes are huge!" Laura exclaims, but starts to eat them anyway.

"That is a huge amount of food. 😜 Hey guys, remember when we met, we went out to eat and I put a photo of us on Instagram?" Riker questions them.

"Yup, I remember it like it was just yesterday. Wait, it was... 😂" Vanessa replies.

Laura gets out her phone and searches up "rikerR5" on her Instagram feed.

"Aw! I look so dorky! 😂" Laura laughs and then scrolls to look at the comments.

"@emilyR5: "I loved our date the other day Riker!"
"@rikerR5: "We have to do it again babe ;)"

Laura's POV

What! When the heck was this?

@rikerR5 left this comment 1d ago.

1 day? 1 freaking day?! He's been cheating on my sister! I'm not going to tell her now in front of him though because that would ruin their relationship and our breakfast. What a low class bitch Riker is.

I don't do anything more than screenshot the photo and put my phone back in my purse.

"Laura, are you okay? You've only took a few bites of your pancakes and stayed on your phone. You haven't been talking to us for a few minutes." Vanessa begins to speak to her sister.

"Sorry, I just haven't been feeling the greatest." Laura makes up an excuse.

"Are you seriously okay?" Riker inquires her.

"Don't talk to me." Laura snaps at Riker.

"Whoa! Laura? What did he do to you?" Vanessa asks her.

"It's not what he did to ME.." Laura begins to say something and then finishes. "But I'm finding us a new place soon so we won't have to live with the Lynches. I knew those guys had bad blood in them from the start. Even when I didn't know them."

"Are you kidding me? It's only been a day and I love it here!" Vanessa exclaims.

"You've only known them for a day. You don't know anything about them." Laura stomps away from the table and bumps into ???.

"Harry?!" Laura yells.

OOOOH! RIKER'S A CHEATER 🙈🙈🙈🙈
And now Harry is in the picture 😉
