Gwen and David stood in front of (Y/n) who was sitting in Gwens comfy cabin chair and looking up at them, unamused. Gwen put her hand to her head and rubbed her temples probably having another headache "Alright (Y/n) for the last time you cannot throw Space kid out of trees and call it a 'gravity test'!" She scolded the kid in the chair whilst David nodded but there was this look in his eye saying that Gwen was being too harsh. (Y/n) sighed and rested his/her eyes for a second before looking at the two counselors with light hearted eyes "Your right Gwen it was wrong of me to do that." David butted in pointing his finger at the kid "Not to mention dangerous and a bad influence!" Gwen sighed "Yes David, so (Y/n) please no more stunts?" She walks her way to the cabin door whilst David stays next to (Y/n).

(Y/n) stood up from the comfy chair and stretched his/her arms upwards getting used to behind on his/her feet after an hour of lecturing. Gwen held the door as the trouble maker walked out it, David following behind him/her. As soon as he/she walked outside he/she was greeted by Max who was resting his back on the cabin obviously waiting for (Y/n) "Are you getting kicked out of this shitty camp yet?" He asked sarcastically whilst (Y/n) kept walking, he followed "Not yet." He/she said a little smugness hinted in his/her voice "Although I know you'd love to take my place if I did, no one wants to leave this place more than you." He/she says to Max who was now walking in sync next to him/her. "Yeah your right." He smiled.

Time skip to a few days later

Summer one of the so called best times of the year but if your in a camp with no air conditioning, tents to sleep in which makes it a sweaty pain in the ass to wake up too then you pretty much spend your time swimming or standing by in the shade. Which brings us to our quartet of campers Neil, Nikki, (Y/n) and Max who were all sitting aside in the shade whilst other campers swam although Nikki and Neil were wearing there 'bathing suits' Nikki's being her normal clothes but instead of overalls blue shorts and Niel being shorts and a yellow shirt. Niel didn't want to swim but Nikki practically yelled at him to, she did the same to (Y/n) and Max but they didn't do anything just kinda told her "no". "Come on Niel let's jump in!" Nikki jumped whilst yelling in her normal ecstatic high voice "Do I have to? Max and (Y/n) aren't swimming." He complained pointing to his friends who were just talking small talk on the side. "Come on Niel it's not like your going to die." Nikki snatched his wrist and pulled him towards the lake "That doesn't Make anything better!"Niel cries "Don't be such a pussy Niel it's just water." Max calls out to him and then whispers "dumbass" when he sees Niel trip over the pier and fall face first into the murky water. (Y/n) laughed and watched Nikki do a cannon ball right next to Niel making him freak out. At the corner of the two's eyes David and Gwen were coming around the corner, David wearing bright yellow swimming trunks and Gwen wearing her normal shirt and shorts. The two look away hoping David won't notice they aren't swimming which fails as they hear his cheerful voice "(Y/n), Max why aren't you two swimming? Sure if you give it a try you'll have lots of fun!" He put his hands on his hips Max sits there unamused "Don't think this is the camp activity for us David." He says Davids name coldly as (Y/n) speaks up "I think we're more comfortable supervising just in case one of the campers are in trouble." He/she lied making David look at him/her to think for a second then his face brightens up "Well that's a great idea! It's all about participation (Y/n) and I'm glad you two are doing just that!" He skips off as Max and (Y/n) give each other a high five with Max saying "Nice."

Just as they think there safe from the camp activity Gwen walks over "Alright what did you two little shit's say to get out of the camp activity this time?" She crossed her arms and rested her hip to the side whilst the two friend's look up at her. "Don't worry about it Gwen it doesn't matter." Max pulled out a pair of sunglasses from his pocket, between the two frames was tape like they've been snapped in half at some point. "This better not be another stunt (Y/n) or so help me-" Gwen stops herself and sighs "Just please don't ruin today for anyone." She walks away without even waiting for a response. (Y/n) nudged Max with a candy bar whilst unwrapping another one with his/her other hand "You want it?" He/she ask's getting the wrapper to fall off to the side of him/her. Max hesitated for a second then grabbed it "Were the hell did you get this?" He pulls on the wrapper with his teeth "Well you know Gwen has to survive her 'Lady sickness' somehow, whatever Nikki's means by that." He/she shrugged taking a bite of the Carmel filled chocolate bar watching Nikki splash at Nerris until he/she hear's the wrapper of Max's candy bar being almost ripped off by his teeth. He/she turns to Max and laughs a little "Gimme that you moron." He/she snatches the bar from his mouth, tearing it open for him. "Jeez it's like you've never opened a candy bar before." (Y/n) laughed handing it back and instead of being grateful Max just kinda scoffed "Shut up I can open shit myself."
"Sure you can."

Time skip to next week
Max third person POV

The past weeks (Y/n) has been here Max has caught on to his/her behavior. He's/she's a trouble maker but is also nice when he's/she's not scheming up a way to ruin David and or Gwen's day, Max found it amusing. It wasn't until yesterday he realized he had a 'crush' on him/her after he witnessed a huge argument full of swears by Gwen and (Y/n) fighting about throwing all of Davids cloths in the river while he took a shower and he watched the whole thing. Of course he was rejecting his feeling in his head, he thought there was no way he could have feelings for someone especially if that person just sees him as some asshole that walks around the camp and tries to escape every once in a while. He thought he/she was pretty badass.

(Y/n) third person POV

Same as Max (Y/n) was rejecting every little thought of seeing Max as more than a friend. It was making him/her loose sleep and getting distracted from his/her usual pranks. It was until he/she told Nikki how he/she felt did he/she feel a whole lot better.
