Part 5: Real Life

Tom'sPOV:

As I tapped her shoulder, she slowly turned towards me. My heart skipped a beat as I saw her. She was even more beautiful up close than in pictures.

"Oh hi!" she said surprised.

I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out.

"I'm really sorry but I just kind of wanted to be alone for a while, I don't really like big crowds." she continued in a kind tone.

"I.. I'm really sorry to bother you, but i just had to say hello to you. I'm a huge fan and I admire your strength after what happened in Manchester... and... hi. I'm Tom Holland" I stuttered.

Ariana looked at me with kindness and love in her eyes as she said "Thank you so much! This means a lot to me." and then she hugged me.

We stayed like that for a minute just holding each other and enjoying each other's company.

"So.. Hello Tom Holland. You're the new Spiderman right? I loved your performance in Civil War" she told me smiling. You could still see the hurt in her eyes. She's probably thinking about Manchester again and she wants to change the topic of our conversation.

"Yes! Oh god, you watch the Marvel movies? I didn't know that!" 

"Hahaha yes, big fan actually. I still have to watch your movie though. It's called 'Homecoming' right?" she asked

"Yeah, it came out a few months ago. Quick question though. If you're a fan of the franchise why haven't you seen Homecoming yet?" I asked curiously.

"I was on tour the last months and I couldn't go to a cinema. I'm looking forward to it though" she explained.

"Right! I totally forgot!" I said wanting to punch myself for asking such a stupid question.

Our conversation awkwardly stopped there, both not knowing what to say anymore.

"Attention please! May everyone please return to their respected seats, the show is about to continue!" someone said through the speakers.

"Well, we better head inside" Ariana said as she began to go back inside.

As she opened the door I blurted out "If you want we can watch Homecoming together!"

Ariana paused for a few seconds before turning back to me. I felt exposed when she looked at me, I didn't know what to do.

She began to smile and said "I would really like that. Here, I'll give you my number!"

I couldn't really comprehend what was happening, I just handed her my phone as she put her number in. Her contact was saved under "Ari🌙".

"It was nice to meet you Tom"

Before I knew it I was alone outside. As I realised what had happened I started doing a happy dance. I had a date with Ariana fucking Grande! Well it wasn't really a date, but whatever. 

For the rest of the show I could not stop thinking about Ariana and what had happened outside.
