Hello!

It’s been awhile since the last time I posted an update on the story of Matt (here’s for team Matt!) and Mason ( Here’s for team Mason!) This update is kind of special because it will be Mason’s POV. Better read it and enjoy!

Mason

My brother and I are having the best time of our lives. We got to know each other after basically our whole lives. Just like him, I never knew I’d have a brother. An older brother to enjoy my childhood with. Too bad we didn’t know we exist until just these past days and weeks. I didn’t know what to feel about it. Mom and Dad treated me like a prince. They gave me everything a boy would dream at a young age. I was sent to a great school. And until now, I still get the benefits of entering in a school with social edge. That’s basically the reason why for some weird reason, I feel bad for my big brother.

Why our parents left him with Veronica and Pete? I didn’t know that too. We are both left in the dark that the only way we catch up is to get to know each other and let what each of us know what the other know.

“ it’s been one great day.” I talked to Matt, who’s been chilling out in our room the whole afternoon. “ I went swimming, playing and all the things to get myself exhausted and you’re out here relaxing. You really enjoyed the rest part of the rest house, don’t you think?

Matt smiled and threw me the pillow beside him.

“can you please shut up, Mae. I’m just not much into physical exhaustions, you know. I need fresh air. And you entering the room polluted it.” He laughed with that.

“You think so? If I’ll fart right here, that’lll be it. The air’s polluted. You really want that?” I challenged him

“Gross. Really? You’re way out of your mind. You’re crazier than I thought.” He said in fake disgust.

“ Honestly, I feel like farting now, really.” I said, laughing.

“Get out of here, Mae. You’re ruining the mood.” He replied.

“What mood are you on big brother? Huh?” I searched through the sheets, looking for some pictures or something.

“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked me.

“Searching out what sets your mood, big brother. You have naked pictures out here?”

“Pervert! What kind of mind do you have?” he said.

“I’ll find it, you know,” I insisted.

“You’ll find nothing. Go on. You’re crazy.” He said, he got up from the bes and sat on the chair next to the coffee table beside the bed. He seemed too caught up with his thoughts. When I got tired of looking, when I failed with my mission, I asked him seriously.

“What’s wrong, man? You’re too serious.”

                “Nothing. Really.” E replied quickly.

“You can tell me, you know? What’s bothering you? Haven’t been laid for a long time? “ I asked.

“Can you stop talking like I’m a pervert or something. You’re insane.” I laughed at his comment.

“So what is It, then?” I asked again.

“Okay, you would not laugh or anything, okay?” he asked.

“Sure. Now we’re talking.” I sat comfortably on the bed.

“It’s not like I care too much or anything, it’s just..”

“Okay, really? You sounded like a girl. You gay, Matt?” I mocked.

“You know what, forget it.” He got up from the chair and walked towards the door.

“Hey, are you and Kristen cool?” I asked. I can feel that there’s something off about the two of them while we’re eating earlier. He stopped in his tracks.

“Of course.” He said, and without turning back, headed somewhere.

Why does it feel like he’s hiding something from me?

Or maybe, I don’t know him much yet.

And what is that piece of paper on his back pocket?

Matt

We were fourteen, Kristen and I are playing up in the tree house. It was spring break so we don’t go to school. We just hang out here or play outside then hang out here again then we’ll go home. We’re not playing too physical anymore. Not so cool for our age. So, mostly, we’re in the tree house.

“Matty, do you know Trevor?” she asked me.

“The tall guy with weird eyeglasses?” I asked her.

“Yeah, that one. Do you know him?” she asked.

“Nah, not really. But I think he’s in one or two of my classes, why?”

“Nothing.” She shrugged and suddenly became too focus on the game. Maybe it was her way of distracting me so she’ll win the game, but I didn’t let her win it. I focused on my game even more too.

“What’s with him?” I asked again.

“Nothing.” She sighed, “it’s just.. he seemed too serious, don’t you think?”

“I don’t know. I have no idea. How do you say so?”

“Well, I haven’t seen him talk to anyone at school. He always has his earphones on and as if he’s in someplace where no one else knows.”

                “Okay, you’re crazy!” I said.

“Am I?” she asked, I can feel the curiosity she has for the boy.

“Yea, I think you like him.” I mocked.

“You think so?” she sighed “I think I do.” She looked at me and we both stopped playing. I can see the sparkles in her eyes that made me know that she’s really into him.

That was the first time she broke my heart. She’s into someone not me.
