Aidan and I returned home the following day. My little brother still had no recollection of the night before, and I wasn't going to be the one to tell him that he transformed into a serial killer in the dead of night. What sister would want to admit that she helped aid him in these acts. Hell, what person would want to. So I decided to just keep my mouth shut and just act as if nothing was wrong.
"What do you mean you didn't tell him?" Carter hissed into my ear. We stood awkwardly inside of his closet with the door shut. I was afraid of Aidan overhearing.
"Carter, you really think I expect that little boy to deal with and come to terms with the fact that he is the headless horseman? Jesus, I still haven't even accepted that I'm a banshee." I hissed back.
"Then what are you going to do the next time this happens? Hmm? What if the next time he does remember, and then he realizes that you've been lying to him?" Carter points out.
"Lilly?" Aidan calls out.
"Shit!" I scream as Carter and I tumble out of the closet. "Coming!"
"I'm hungry," my brother complains.
"I'll make us some grilled cheese and soup. Give me a few minutes?" I watched my brother nod his head as I made my way to the kitchen. I rattled through the cupboards, pulling out the necessities. Then I got to work making out lunch. I made enough for Landon, Carter, my brother and I.
"Alright boys! Lunch time!" I yelled loud enough to shake the house. Each and every one of them came running.
"How you feeling Aidan? You gave us quite a scare last night," Landon asked my brother.
"I'm fine, still can't remember anything though. And I'm still a little cold," He said shivering.
"I have to go out tonight, make sure to lock up after me." Landon said to Carter and I.
"We will, don't worry." I said crossing my arms.
"We'll, I'm going to have a smoke. Try not to kill each other while I'm gone." Carter said getting up from the table awkwardly.

I know the chapter was short but I'm trying to get back into the swing of this book. Let me know what you think. Much love.
