Vampire and human interaction is not allowed. It is strictly prohibited and will have serious consequences.

I remember the first time I saw him. I cannot exactly describe the feeling, but something inside of me changed. I felt numb, my heart rate went up, and my palms got sweaty. He was walking around on the grass with another boy, they were both smiling and laughing. I stood outside the fence, since no one was allowed inside the big gates. But I watched him, watched how perfect he was. Every inch of what I saw was flawless, the way his brown hair was perfectly fixed, how his brown, almost black eyes sparkled. And his smile, that smile could cure cancer believe me. But then I saw it, and it made my smile disappear, though I knew it before, I still didn´t like it. He was wearing that shiny black ring, the ring that revealed he was a vampire. Of course, everyone knew the Caylen family, they were kind of the royalty in our town, his father being the mayor. Without that ring he wouldn´t be able to be out in daylight. I had never actually seen him in person, almost no one had, or at least no human. I had heard people, vampires, talk about Justin Caylen, and apparently he was something special. I had painted up a picture of him in my head and used to fantasize about him. And there he was, right in front of me.

“Excuse me, you are not supposed not be here, human.” I suddenly heard someone say with a stern sounding voice. I turned to the side and saw a tall man in uniform standing there, he had the mark on his arm that showed he was a vampire guard. And you didn´t want to fight with them.

“Um... I am sorry sir.” I said and looked down at the ground. I was not the one to argue so I just did what my mother always told me to, always agree with the vampires.

“Go back to your part of the town, next time you will not get away without consequences, is that clear?” He said menacingly.

“Yes sir.” I said and backed away. I took one last glance inside the gates, when I realized he was staring at me. I couldn´t tell if he was smiling or not, but I didn´t stay long enough to find out but I started running back home. I knew that I was going to be happy for the rest of the day. But the worst part was that I couldn´t tell my sister, she would only tell our parents, and they would not be as happy as I. My dad hated vampires and didn´t want anything to do with them. So I had to keep this my little secret. My beautiful little secret.

Ever since I first saw him two weeks ago, I could not stop thinking about him. I needed to see him again, I needed to hear his voice. I just didn´t know how that would happen, since vampires didn´t exactly interact with humans. So I had to get creative. When I came to school my main goal was to collect as much information about him as possible. I knew the girls in my school always used to talk and gossip about him, so that wouldn´t be too difficult. Apparently he was rarely in our part of the town, he was always in the north part, where all the vampires kept around. But how was I supposed to get there, without getting caught?

A few hours later I had snuck out of my house to begin the search for him. Surprisingly I didn´t see any guards, but that only meant that this would be way easier than what I had expected. I walked towards the long road with my heart beating fast, I could get caught anytime and everything would be ruined.
