Forbidden

Chapter 2

While I was walking around the streets, I could not stop thinking about yesterday. It had been absolutely perfect. I couldn´t concentrate on what my friends were talking about, it probably wasn´t anything interesting anyway. It was hard to keep this secret to myself, but I had to. No one could know this, or else I would get in so much trouble. But I knew that would not be able to focus on anything else this week. I just needed to see him again. It really was something special about him.

“Earth to Sky!” I heard someone say and snapped their fingers in front of my face. I saw Ciara standing there and started laughing.

“Oh, hey!”

“I called your name several times but you just ignored me.” She said, crossing her arms.

“Sorry! I was in my own little world. And I wasn´t ignoring you” I said and smiled innocently.

“Haha, it´s okay Sky. So where are you going?”

“Nowhere really, I was just walking around.” I said.

“Are you up to do something?” She said and smiled mischievously. 

“Oh no, what are you up to Ciara?” I asked, I´ve been around her for ten years, I knew that she always wanted to do something crazy.

“I was thinking, well I heard some girls talk about him, and I just wanted to get a good look at him.”

“Him? Him who?” I asked all confused.

“Jc Caylen of course! Everyone´s talking about him. Apparently a girl, non-vampire, managed to meet him or something.” I froze, wait, was that someone me? Did someone really see us? I suddenly panicked and zoned out from Ciara.

“Earth to Sky! Damn what´s with you today?” She said and sounded annoyed. Yeah, that was Ciara, always wanted to be the center of attention. I didn´t mind it that much though.

“Okay, I´m sorry, again.” I couldn´t expose anything, so I just would have to pretend like nothing.

“So do you want to?” She asked.

“Want to what?”

“Go and try to look after Jc Caylen. I heard he´s really hot.” She said, smiling. No, no way. I couldn´t. I mean, yeah technically I´ve already done that. But I didn´t want to do it again. He would think I´m a freak and wouldn´t come next week.

“No, Ciara we´re gonna get caught. And we can´t be seen in the vampire-part.”

“Live a little Sky!” She said and laughed.

“No, it´s too dangerous!” I said, but I knew that if she wanted something, she would get it.

“Please, pretty please!” She begged and I just gave up and started laughing.

“OKAY!” I put my hands in the air and she started jumping up and down.

“Why are you so excited? You don´t even know anything about him.”

“But, I know that he´s supposed to be hot.” She said and smiled. I just shook my head. I still hoped we wouldn’t find him.

“If you say so.” I said and she started dragging me towards the part we really weren´t allowed in. I kept thinking of the last time I was here. Standing outside the gates and seeing him, was the best thing I´ve done the last month. We saw some girls walk a few feet away so we quickly hid in the bushes.

“Ciara we should go back, come on.” I said, getting nervous.

“No, we´re so close! I´m not going back now.”
