The Transformation

Keith's P. O. V

Lance and I both drank the liquid at the same time. It tasted like strawberry.

All of a sudden I heard someone moan out in pain. I looked to my left to see Lance was about to collapse. I tried to catch him but his knees hit the floor before I could catch him. He was holding his throat almost strangling himslef.

???- "I forgot to mention, there will be pain while transforming. Espically for him. He was born a mermaid his body is not used to changing into something different. You might not feel pain though. You were a human for quiet a long time."

Now I felt like crying. I clutch onto Lance as my way of trying to supress the pain.

Keith- "Im sorry Lance. I made you do this."

As I said that I could feel the tears coming down. I didn't want to ever see him like this. Knowing that I made him feel this pain made the feeling worse.

All of a sudden Lance was emmiting a glowing type light. The strange man who was refusing to say his name held a bubble.

He put it over Lance's head. In the next moment the glowing light was gone and it was just Lance, a human Lance, a human and naked Lance. Wait... he's naked.

Noticing this fact I turned a bright shade of red.

???- "Are you okay?"

He snapped his fingers and one of the pairs of clothing that I brought was on him covering his whole body.

I started feeling a stinging feeling in my throat. It felt like the pain I felt when I was drowning. The pain of not being able to breath.

That same light came from me instead of Lance.

Soon I was human as well. The strange person was facing the other way looking at a weird book. So I placed Lance's body fully on the ground.

I got up and went to the other pair of clothes and dressed myslef.

All of a sudden the strange person turned around.

???- "How are you still alive? I haven't put a bubble around you yet. Ahhh... you died from drowning. Anyway here you go."

He put a bubble around my head.

I grabbed Lance's unconscious body and swam up to the surface.

When we reached the top it was near the back side of the land so no one saw us. I put Lance on the lowest part of land and he woke up imediately.

Lance- "Woah were am I."

He saw me and helped me out of the water.

Lance- "How are our clothes already dry?"

I just responded with a shrug.

???- "Hey what are you two doing over there. Come over here were engraving the title of out land."

Lance looked at me confused.
