5.Mates And Fake Names

Scarlet's P.O.V.

I woke up to an explosive feeling all over my body. I jolted up on all fours, turned, and growled...... Wait! Did I growl? Am I on all fours? I looked down slowly only to see snow like white paws! OH MY MOON GODDESS!!!! Im a wolf. I turned my head to look at my body, my body was just as white as my paws, just like snow. OMMG! This is so cool.

I then heard grass crunch. I looked over to see a guy with black hair and gray like eyes with a circle of green around the pupil, he looked about 6'4, oh great he's a foot taller than me in human form, he was really buff. Damn he's hot! Something about his eyes looked familiar but I was to busy checking him out to care.

"Calm down, you're ok. No one is going to hurt you as long as I'm here." He said sweetly in a heavenly voice. Ok I have officially gone crazy. I smelt the air only to smell lilies and candy, yup I'm crazy.

'Go shift so we can talk to mate!' Wait, what? Was that my wolf? 'Yup, my name is Nicollet. Now go shift so we can meet mate' 'Wow, pushy.' I said to mess with her. 'Hey! I have waited for this day ever sense we were born, now it here so go!' She defended. Well its looks like if I pick on her she wont like it. 'Ok,ok'

I looked around for my back pack. When I saw it I tried to walk to it but I couldn't. My right arm was still in pain because of that mutt, and yes I hold grudges. I guess the guy noticed so he picked up my bag and brought it to me, I took it in my mouth and walked... Well limped behind a big tree. 'Uh, Nicollet? How do i shift?' 'Same way you shift into your wolf form, just instead of thinking about your wolf self, think about your human self.' 'Thanks girl.' I thought about my dirty blond hair, hazel brown eyes, and small figure.

I felt a little pain and opened my eyes to see I'm in human form..... And naked. I pulled out a some clothes out of the bag which was a pair of black shorts and my navy blue tank top. After I was all dressed I slung my bag on my shoulder, I looked down at my wound on my arm only to see it stopped bleeding but it still stung.

'Now go see mate.' Nicollet pushed. 'Ok, calm yo tits' 'I don't think wolves have tits.' And after she said that I walked out from behind the tree and walked up to mate to where i'll be right in front of him. He put his finger under my chin, I felt tingles run down my spine. He tilted my head and looked in my eyes.

"You're so beautiful." He said with out hesitation. Im impressed, I'm not the prettiest girl so I never really get called beautiful. Sure my dad and Rebecca said I was pretty and Jesse and Sammy would make it a game to make me blush by calling me cute.

"Thank you." I squeaked, turning away so he wont see me blush.

"Don't hide your face when you blush, it makes you even more impossibly beautiful." He chuckled at first then went all serious at the end. I looked back into his eyes. I noticed he started to lean down. Oh no, I'm not going to kiss him, we just met. My wolf was prancing around in my head acting all happy.

"Uh, whats your name?" I asked mostly to change the subject.

"Well I was expecting a kiss for helping you shift, but it can wait." He said like he was disappointed. "My name is Cole Blaze, and you are?" Oh shit , thats why he looked familiar. He can't know I am, I just know he's here to kill me.

'Don't worry, he doesn't who we are yet.' Nicollet said calmly. 'Sorry Nicollet, don't hate me.' 'Wait, what?' She asked scared and curious. "Nicollet, my name is Nicollet Johnson, the Crystal Chain's beta's daughter." I said using Jesse's last name. Nicollet growled at me, I guess she didn't like the idea.

"Nicollet?" Cole asked like he suspected something.

"Yes."

"Ok then." He dropped it which I was happy for.

"Oh shit! Now if you excuse me, I need to go help Jesse and Rebecca." I said starting to remember about my best friends.

"What?!?"

"I have to go help my friends because those mutts you call warrior wolves attacked them and damaged me." I said rushing to help them even if i want to stay with Cole.

"No! Even if you're a special, you're still weak from your first shift and your arm is damaged!"

"I need to help them I don't care if I'm a spe-..... Wait, did you say special?" I asked amazed. 'Why didn't you tell me, Nicollet?' 'Maybe next time you wont use my name to trick our mate.' Ok then, my wolf is a bitch. She growled at me but I ignored her.

"Now that you're done talking to your wolf. Yes, you are a special. Your wolf is pure white with electric blue eyes. You are quite beautiful." He said lovingly. When he was talking about my wolf he put his hand on cheek, rubbing my cheek with his thumb. When he said I was beautiful he rubbed his thumb along my bottom lip, there he goes leaning in again. I don't know what is wrong with me because I started to lean in also.

I stopped and pulled away once I heard a deep growl, we both looked over to see Jesse in wolf form. He was growling, but not just at Cole but at both me and Cole. I ran to Jesse and hugged him, he growled an almost bit me. "What the fuck, Jes!" I yelled as Cole growled at him. Jesse looked at me with disbelief.

'No! This can't be Scarlet!' Jesse's voice echo in my head.

"Yeah, its me, Nicollet." I gave him a wink, but he looked confused. "Your sister." I winked again, he look like he got it after he looked at Cole. Jesse walked up to me and put his head against mine, I put my hands on the side of his face and pulled his head down to kiss the top of it. "Go shift so I can actually talk to you."

He ran behind a tree. Jesse came back in black shorts and a black tank top, he walked up to me with an amazed expression. "Nicollet?" He asked dumbly. He's a terrible actor, he would die if he had to act to save his life.

"Yeah, its me."

"How? You look so different!" He asked amazed. Wait, what does he mean by 'different'?

"What do you mea-" was all i said before jesse pulled a strand of hair from behind my ear, I saw my hair was pure white with blue stripes. "This is so COOL! What else is different?"

"Well you have a circle of blue around your pupils, your skin is tanner and you body is more defined." Cole said like it was nothing. Jesse growled at him like he was going to attack first and ask questions later but i stopped him once i thought of something.

"Where is Rebecca? Did you leave her?" He look anywhere but my eyes and nodded, after he did that i was pissed. "You dumb ass! You know she isn't strong! If she gets hurt Sammy will kill both of us! Go help her dumb ass!" I yelled knowing both of us are doomed if she even gets a scratch on her.

"Ok,ok! Just go to the safe house now." He said more worried of me than Rebecca.

"Ok, whatever. Now go!" After I said that he kissed my forehead then turned and shifted, he started to run in the direction of Rebecca and I watched till he disappeared in the thick woods. I turned towards Cole only to see he had an evil smirk on his handsome face. "Whats that look?" He didn't answer my question, he only grabbed my left arm and started to pull me with him. "Where are we going? The safe house is that way." I pointed towards the right. Some how I knew this wasn't going to be good.

"I know. We are going to my pack land to my house." Oh fuck!
