12.The First kiss

Scarlet's P.O.V.

I woke up in Cole's bed, alone, thankfully. I was terrified of him, scared that he was going to hurt me or others again. I sat up and touched my neck, I felt pure pain. Its probably best not to touch it till it heals. I got off the bed, but fell to the ground with my weak knees. I groaned and started to get up, but stopped when i noticed a box labeled "Old Memories" under his bed.

I didn't want to snoop around but Nicollet was bugging me to, so I pulled it out from under the bed and opened it. I saw photo albums and opened one, there were pictures of him as a baby, him and Shella, just of him, of his family, of his dad and mom, and of me and him! I was shocked he still had photos of me and him, some of them was just of me.

I looked trough 3 photo albums, one whole photo album was of me and him. I was about to put up the albums but stopped when i noticed a loose picture on the bottom of the box. I picked it up, only to be shocked. It was a picture of us as kids when he was 8 and I was 5. It was of our first kiss.

--flash back--

I was swimming in the water on the beach with Cole, his mother brought us here to get out of the summer heat. "Cole? Where did you go?!" I asked looking around for him. I started to get scared. "Cole? Cole? Cole?!?!" I screamed for him. I then i suddenly was pulled under the water by my foot. I swam back up for air and looked at the thing that did it, or the boy that did it. Cole was next to me with a smirk on his face. "Did you do that?!?!" I asked him, angrily.

"Why would you think that?" He asked, giggling. I splashed water at him, we ended up having a splash war. After our plash war, we were building sand castles. A human couple walking on the beach, they sat down on a towel and kissed.

"I want to be like them one day." I say to my self, but i guess Cole heard. He looked at me weirdly.

"You want to be a human?" He asked dumbly. I shook my head and laughed.

"No, I mean I want to be in love. I want kiss some one i love and trust with all my heart anytime i want." I said, day dreaming about finding my mate. I looked at Cole, he looked like he was thinking so i just sat there building the sand castle.

"Do you trust me with all your heart?" Cole asked me looking down at the castle.

"Of course i do." I said to him. Instead of finishing my castle, i stopped and looked in front of him. He looked up at me and into my eyes.

"Do you love me with all your heart?" He asked me.

"Of course i do, you're my best friend." I said to him, why was he asking me this? He had a happy look in his eyes, he smiled and picked me up to my feet.

"Then you wont mind if i do this." He said, before he kissed me strait on my lips. I was shocked at first, but closed my eyes and enjoyed the way it felt. I never kissed a boy before, it felt amazing. We heard a snap , but ignored it. We pulled away smiling. "You love and trust me and i love and trust you, you can kiss me anytime you want." He said smiling. We heard another snap, this time we both looked towards the sound. We saw his mom with a camera pointing at us. She smiled warmly at us and sat back down on her towel. Me and Cole went to play in the water again.

--present time--

That was both of our first kiss, we never kissed again after that. I was smiling like an idiot, I was to busy day dreaming that I didn't notice the door opened. "Nicollet?" I heard Cole's voice. I froze in place, not knowing what to say or do. He walked over to me, i rushed to put all the photo albums so he wont know I saw them but I was caught red with an album in my hand. "You found that?" He asked.

"Im so sorry, I shouldn't have snooping." I said nervously. He laughed for a second.

"Its fine, no need to be sorry. But im sorry for force marking you, it was unforgivable." He said sadly. Wow, he looks so hot today. Wait, what? Damn it already started, dumb ass mark.

"Cole, a lot of alphas force mark. I forgive you, but im not the one you should be apologizing to. Do you remember what you did?!" I asked, worried for Shella.

"No. I noticed your mark this morning and my wolf told me it was us and it was forced. Wait, what happened?" He asked me curiously.

"You threw your sister across the room, she hit her head and it started bleeding, and you just yelled at her to leave, you didn't even care. I was completely terrified, i still am, my wolf is giving me the courage to talk to you." I said. His eyes widened, and he whispered a barely audible 'holy shit'. He looked down and saw the picture of us kissing i saw earlier.

"Wow, I didn't think I had that picture. My mom took that when me and my best friend had out first kiss." He said, sadly.

"Shes gone now, right?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, I always believed friends leave all the time, but siblings that are best friends are rare and they stay forever. So go down there and make sure Shella is ok."

"Ok, thanks." He said getting up and going to he door, he stopped and turned towards me. "Nicollet, I happy you're my mate. I don't know what I would do with out you." He said before leaving the room. I hope Shella is ok.
