I'm watching Criminal Minds as I write this and I'm soooo in love with all of the characters I had to start typing so here I am- lucky you guys! Just a reminder, I do take requests for any character and any scenario!

"Babygirl, you've gotta tell me more than that!" Morgan said to Garcia, sighing as he ran his hands down his face out of frustration.

Garcia giggled, laughing into the phone with happiness. "Or I could not and just let you meet her! You'll love her Derek- promise! Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to go and enjoy myself some movie time with wine and delicious chocolate covered strawberries! Good luck!" Before Morgan could argue, the line went dead and he was left sitting in a restaurant with no more clues as to who he was meeting for this blind date his crazy friend had set up.

Garcia knew that whoever she set him up with would have to be okay with his weird hours of work and how he had to leave town with the drop of a hat. Morgan stared down at his menu, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes as he did so. For some reason, the Derek Morgan was nervous about meeting a girl. He didn't know why, but he was determined to get to know this mystery girl.

Suddenly, someone clearing their throat sent him out of his thoughts. When he opened his eyes, he was stunned to find a beautiful woman standing in front of him. "Hi... You must be Derek Morgan...?" He felt his heart skip a few beats as she spoke his name. "My name is y/n... I believe our mutual friend Penelope thinks we have quite a few things in common." She gave a small smile as she sat down, her skin glowing in the low light of the restaurant.

Morgan realized that he wasn't speaking and that she was waiting for him to say something in response to her words. "I... yeah, yeah, I guess we do huh?" He laughed lightly, trying to cover up his nerves by doing so.

Y/n smiled at him, laughing a little bit too. "Yeah, her meddling in my love life never seems to end; she's been trying to get me to go on a blind date with her "Chocolate Thunder" for months now." She giggled at the nickname, trying not to when she saw his facial expression.

"Has she really? Interesting- that would make two of us then. I don't think she's shut up about you either." Morgan admitted.

"Is it weird that I already know your birthday and your favorite color?" Y/n asked, looking at her menu with amusement as she began to laugh again.

Morgan laughed with her, just happy to be seeing y/n smiling at him. She was absolutely gorgeous and could easily be considered the prettiest girl in the room. "Hmm... Now on a normal occasion I would say yes, but knowing Garcia, I'd be surprised if you didn't!"

The two began talking about other things, branching off of their conversation about their mutual friend. "So, you work for the BAU?" Y/n asked, sipping at the water in front of her.

"Yeah, I have for a long time now, what about you?" Morgan responded, smiling back at her.

"I'm actually about to start working alongside Penelope as a technical analysis. So lets hope that this date goes well, otherwise my new job would be really awkward!" Y/n joked, ignoring the small stomach flip when Morgan smiled at her.

"Not awkward, we'd probably just shuffle around each other in hopes of avoiding the other person for the first few months, which would likely be impossible." Morgan added with a shrug; he couldn't help but begin to profile her as they spoke to each other.

(As cool as it would be, I can't reach into your mind and pull out facts about every single one of you amazing readers so for my non-mind reading capabilities, please pretend these things describe you!) She was right handed and fiddled with her clothes when she got nervous. Although she looked nice, most of her clothes were't name brand, but that didn't really bother him; in fact, it made her seem more unique and piqued his interest in her life. She hesitated before she said something that might be considered funny or too bold, so she lacked some self confidence but not enough to hold her back from speaking her mind.

"So, for future hopes of not ruining a job I'm really excited about, can we get along and maybe go on a second date? So far you seem funny and even though you evidently don't like to be tied down to one woman, you seem attracted to me." Y/n blushed at her boldness, biting her lip as she did so.

Morgan stared at her with shock for a moment, completely dumbfounded. "I... Yeah, I think I'd like that. And maybe if I'm lucky you'll like me enough to go on a third date with me; I'm not too sure about a fourth one though. I might get boring pretty fast."

A flicker of amusement passed over y/n's eyes after he spoke. She paused for a moment, considering her response. "I don't think I'll get bored with you... And on our fifth date, I'll say I told you so."

A month later, he was listening to her say "I told you so." Over and over again. And he couldn't help but laugh at her happiness and how she did a little dance when she proved him wrong. It was one of the many things that he found was making him fall in love with her faster than he ever thought possible.
