"No Caller ID is calling..."
His phone was ringing on the counter next to him. He groggily picked up his phone and answered the call, not even caring to view who was calling him.
"Hello?" He said with a prominent tiredness in his voice.
"Hel...p? Me?" There's loud static behind this whispering voice. The voice whispered those words over and over while the static progressively turned into a loud and ear-piercing ring.
Then, the "help me"s were drowned in the sharp ring and then the ring faded out along with the not-so-desperate calls for help.
Brendon's face morphed into confused and pulled the phone away from his ear. He noticed that the call wasn't over as the timer kept increasing. Brendon put the phone by his ear, there's beeping, sounds like...morse code?
The beeping repeated over and over until Brendon dismissed the call. He's getting stalker and creepy vibes, he isn't enjoying some kid's prank. Before he set his phone down and passed off the weird call as some joke, he gets a text from an unknown number.
" .. / -.. --- -. .----. - / -.- -. --- .-- / .... --- .-- / -... ..- - / - .... . -.-- / ..-. --- ..- -. -.. / -- "
That's the text, a bunch of shit that Brendon doesn't understand. He doesn't respond to the text and left it there.
It's late and Brendon wanted some sleep, so, he put off the uncomfortable text and headed toward his room.
However, his phone began to blow up, the same sequence of symbols being spammed to him from the same unknown number.
Out of frustration, he deleted the conversation and blocked the unknown number, in hopes, that this would settle it.
And Brendon's wrong, the texts appeared again, this time, seemingly more aggressive.
Brendon ultimately decided to shut his phone down and sleep on the problem. He'll tackle this odd problem in the morning.
