The sun finally set and Brendon was out in his car, driving toward the Latet Woods. And Brendon was in an angrier mood than before after researching a few more articles to pass the time.
The pair of criminals were definitely going to get a taste of what they paid for.
His knuckles were white as he gripped the steering wheel since he couldn't wait to kill people who have done truly, terrible things.
The stars twinkled and danced with the crescent moon in the black sky as Brendon's motor growled with every turn he took. In only about fifteen minutes, he parked his car in the public entrance for the woods.
While he started to get out of his car, he has no idea how to find them. Brendon hoped that the mystery caller would give him clues sooner or later.
His phone went off, his eyes glanced st the screen. The text was different, this time, it was in actual English! However, it was shorter than usual.
"Walk fifty paces forward."
Brendon did so and he lost count a few times, leading to not exactly fifty paces but somewhere around that. The forest was dark and intimidating, especially with the thought that you are stepping into criminal territory. Brendon couldn't and wouldn't let his anxiety and fears make him seem like a coward. He'll stay strong on the outside and try to hide his true feelings.
"Go west thirty paces." Another text came through. That's what it was like for Brendon for about thirty-five minutes, listening to the caller's direction, avoiding trees and bushes, and wandering aimlessly, in a way.
"Stop and hide behind the bush next to you." That was the only text that didn't give directions and Brendon hid behind the bush to his right.
"Listen." The next text wrote.
He listened carefully and from a distance, he heard talking and laughing. His hand reaches for the lock on the box and took the gun out.
Brendon loaded the gun and then a text came around.
"One by one, Brendon." It read.
He knew what he do now as he crept closer to the area of the criminals.
