I wake up in the nurses office with Tyler holding my hand. He tells me that we can go home if I want, and I of course say yes. We walk out and go to my car. I gave him the keys, me not being in the greatest shape to drive, allowing him to drive me home.
*time skip because I don't feel like writing but you deserve another chapter*
Tyler and I were driving home when I just felt the urge to run and scream. I resisted till he parked the car at my house. After I got out, I looked at him and said "I'm sorry" and ran. He called my name and I could hear his footsteps coming after me. I ran and ran, not knowing where I was going, nor did I care. I eventually heard only my footsteps, and stopped running. I turned around to see that he was no longer behind me. As I did so, I saw that I was in a forest (you already know what's gonna happen). I started walking deeper into the forest. Darkness slowly crept onto the dark green pine trees as cicadas began to chirp, crickets began to play, bullfrogs and toads croaked, and the soft singing of the birds chirping slowly died. I heard a rustling in the leaves and stopped for a moment, thinking it was my feet, to see if I could hear something other than myself. The rustling began again. I walked towards wear the noise was coming from and saw little dog caught in some vines. I had a quick "awww" moment, then grabbed the pocket knife I had on me to cut the vines. After the puppy was free, it granted me with licks/kisses all over my face. I looked at the blue collar it wore and saw that her name was Sophie. (This is Sophie :
I miss my baby a lot. Rest in peace Sophie, you're in a better place. I love you)
I put the knife back in my pocket and pulled out some lunch meat from my backpack. I gave it to her and she ate it. I picked her up and walked with her to where ever I was going. She fell asleep in my arms. I soon found an empty (you guessed it) treehouse. Doing the best I could with one hand, climbed up the ladder to the treehouse and set my backpack on the floor. Still holding the dog, I pulled out my hoodie and laid it down in what looks like a pretty decent small bed. I laid Sophie down on my hoodie and she slept for the rest of the night. I, on the other hand, simply laid down next to her, put my arm around her to keep her warm, and laid my head on my backpack. Before falling a sleep, I looked around at the treehouse. I looked on the right wall and some some papers with on them. I looked on the floor, a spot closet to my head was a word in the wood. It read "T-E-R-R-F-I-E-D". Exactly how I felt. I soon fell asleep to the sound of dark nature.
*time skip to the morning cause I can*
I woke up to the sound of Sophie's quiet barking and her liking my hand. After she realized I was awake, she stopped and sat down. I got out more of the meat I had in my bag and ate some, of course giving Sophie some too.
*anotha one (time skip)*
Sophie and I were walking around, trying to find our way out and back home. We stopped to sit down and rest. Sophie was playing with her tail, when I heard creaking coming from above me. I looked up and saw a branch, a sharp looking one, about to fall on Sophie. As I heard the branch somehow snap, I pushed Sophie out of the way and that ended pretty badly. As I felt the snap pain of the branch go into my stomach, I screamed out in pain. Sophie ran to me as I tried catching my breath. I tasted something sort of unfamiliar and touched my lips. I looked at my now red fingers and saw blood. I know he won't hear me, but if I'm lucky, someone might.
"TYLER!!"
I was really surprised to of actually heard something back.
-<Tyler's POV>-
I was walking down the side walk to Y/N's house to see if she might have somehow come back. I didn't care about school, I only wanted to find my girlfriend. My love. I looked to my side and saw the forest I usually go by. I looked forward again when all of a sudden, I heard a blood curdling scream. I stopped and directed my attention to the forest again. Ready to run, I inched closer to the trees. I was a bit more scared when I heard my name.
"TYLER!!"
"Shit!" I yelled and ran into the forest as quickly as possible. I called Y/N's name as loud as I can be, just to hear my name again. We said each others name's over until I finally saw my beautiful girlfriend lying on the ground with a branch in her stomach and a dog liking her hand.
"Y/N, baby, what happened?!" I say, grabbing her hand.
"I was trying to save Sophie"
"Who the hell is Sophie?"
"Her." She replied. Placing her hand on the dog.
"I'll call an ambulance. You're going to be ok."I dialed the 411 number and told them everything. All Y/N and I were doing was crying and staring at each other. I tried pulling the branch out of her, but all I got was her screaming in pain and crying for me to stop. It was luckily a thin branch, but not thin enough. Like, it was thin, but thick and strong enough to puncture her.
"Hey, Tyler?" She whispered.
"Yes?"
"Don't leave me or Sophie."
"I won't."
"Mmk."She slowly closed her eyes.
"No no no, please stay awake."
It didn't help, but when the ambulance got here, she still had a heart beat. That's all that matters. I grabbed Sophie and took her with me to the hospital with Y/N.
