Chapter 8-Cheaters gonna Cheat

"Ugh.. What are we even gonna do?" I complained to Rylie after slamming my locker.

"Make a fire. What do you think we are gonna do at a bonfire?" asked Rylie sarcastically. "If it were up to me, I wouldn't invite you-"

"Gee thanks sis," I interjected leaning against my lockers.

"But," continued Rylie, "Dad wants you to embrace high school with open arms."

"Nice to know dad cares about my social status, but no thanks."

"Why not?" asked my father for the millionth time at dinner.

I sighed and glared at Rylie who in return smirked evilly. That little satan probe.

"Honey, I just want you to have a memorable high school experience. Why don't you invite some friends?"

"Dad," Rylie yelled abruptly standing up from her chair. "She can't bring her friends!"

"Rai, you're going. End of story! Rylie, you are going to allow her to invite friends." Rylie got up and stomped to her room. "Now, Rai go invite you friends."

"Ugh!" I groaned storming off to my room.

"You did what?" I screeched at Oki from inside my bedroom. She had arrived earlier than everyone else.

"No John did what!" Oki corrected.

"I thought you were kidding!"

"I was. John wasn't. Calm down! If he annoys you, I'll throw him in the bonfire."

"It's okay. I think he's over me, but he so awkward!"

"Yeah, Christofer is creepy."
