a crowd of people had made their way out of the movie theater as the last showings of the day had come to an end. seokjin sighed, exhausted from working the night shift. of course, it was his duty to clean any remaining mess people had left behind and lock the theater doors before leaving to go home. he hoped there wasn't much to deal with.

seokjin checked the bathrooms first, making sure it was vacant. he, then, went to the showrooms. he swept up the several pieces of popcorn and candy left on the floor and under the seats, as well as picking up anything else people had left behind or possibly, forgotten.

after minutes, he was almost done, having one more showroom to clean. entering the room, the atmosphere felt quite odd for jin. he knew something was off as soon as heard the sound of quiet sniffles and breaths coming from the one and only, you. seokjin rolled his eyes, not wanting to be concerned with someone's foolery at this time of night.

he had checked and cleaned each row before dealing with the crying mess sitting there. although it seemed important to get the person out first, he had just wanted to finish tidying everything up to get it over with. luckily, there wasn't that much.

once he finished, he made his way over to the figure sitting on one of the seats in the third row. "excuse me," seokjin looked at you, "i'm sorry but the movie is over. you need to leave."

you didn't hear him, crying into your bucket of popcorn. you were an emotional wreck, indeed.

"i get it, the movie was sad, but we're about to close and i can't just leave you here." he suddenly laid his hand on your shoulder. you looked up in a state of shock. at once, you jolted up, dropping your bucket of popcorn on the floor. you weren't aware that the movie was over and that everyone had already left. you apologized several times, and had crouched down frantically to help clean up the mess you made.

seokjin looked at you, concerned. he felt sorry, reassuring you that it was okay and that he'll clean it up instead. you shook your head, refusing to let him do it.

he was getting frustrated at you, which resulted in him putting his hands on your shoulders and helping you stay in place. you were shaking and panicking before, but now you were still and more stable, which made it quiet enough to hear your ragged breathing, and his calm one.

"listen, go sit over there. i'll clean this up, don't worry." seokjin helped you stand up, guiding you to another seat. "and don't leave."

you silently agreed, watching him sweep up the popcorn you dropped earlier. you started to feel bad for being such a mess. he looked immensely tired, and knowing you have probably made it worse brought you to your senses.

"sir-" you were about to speak, however he interrupted you. "sit down, i'm not done yet."

you felt flustered at his sudden words, while shutting yourself up and sitting back down. after a couple minutes, he walked out of the room. you sat there, confused and in a dilemma. should you listen to this stranger or just leave?

nevertheless, seokjin came back. he was no longer wearing his work clothes, and instead something casual. a black shirt, with a loose white button up in which the buttons weren't even buttoned up, and the same black jeans he was wearing earlier.

"have you calmed down?" he asked. your eyes followed him as he walked down the aisle to where you were sitting. you nodded your head, carefully trying not to make it noticeable that you were in awe of how he looked.

he smirked and snickered. "it's rude to stare, you know."

you blinked fast, while your mouth was agape. once you've realized what you were doing, you quickly turned away, flustered. "sorry," you whispered.
