Don
I couldn't wait to get home and tell her the good news. I arrived at our appartment and I heard giggling inside, probably having some friends over.
I open the door with my keys and yell to let her know that I'm home. 'Babe, I'm ho-, WHAT-THE-FUCK!' I scream as I drop my keys on the floor.
I stand there, In MY livingroom, my jaw almost reaching my toes when I see my girlfriend on top of my teammate slash best friend... half-naked!
'Honey, this is not what it looks like.' She yells while she jumps off of him. 'The basterd on the other hand, says nothing.
'Well to me it looks like you're fucking my best friend.' I yell as I clench my fists, the rest of my body tighten as I get more and more angry by the minute.
Not being able to speak I keep my eyes on the both of them while they're looking away from me with shame and embarrassed.
I wonder off, trying to calm myself down from not killing the both of them. Hearing Candy say that I should calm down, repeating that it's not what it looks like. Again the asshole says nothing.
She walks up to me, laying her hands on my upper body, caressing my chest to try and calm me down. 'Don't. Touch. Me.' I say with a blank voice, pulling her hands away from me.
I take three huge steps, passing Candy towards Jordan. 'Don please don't!' Candy yells in panic. I ignore her, staring at Jordan's arrogant face. 'Don, please, you'll get kicked off the team!' Candy screams.
'You've worked so hard for this, please baby, please don't.'
I don't fucking care! He was supposed to be my best friend. How many times have I picked him up, giving him a place to stay, money to take care of his debts, getting him a spot on the team!!!! And how does he repay me?
BY SLEEPING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND.
Going over all of this in my mind I realized Candy was right, I worked to damn hard for this, and punching him was gonna cost me my spot on the team and he wasn't worth it, THEY BOTH weren't worth any of it.
'Get out.' I said calmly. 'Come on babe, let's go.' Jordan walkes passed me towards Candy, grabbing her hand. How dare he?!
She pulls her hand away from him, which I could see he didn't expect. 'Baby please, can't we talk about this?' She tried once again.
'Whatever.' He said, getting ready to leave. 'It's not like you're that hot anyway.' He smirked. He walked back towards me, leaning towards the couch to get his phone.
'Well it's not like you were THAT GOOD anyway.' She replied while she crossed her arms over her chest.
My head was spinning. I was just betrayed by my girlfriend and my best friend and THEY'RE the ones fighting?!
'Both of you shut up!' I scream, getting both of their attention. 'I asked you both to leave. I'm not asking you again.'
Jordan started to laugh. 'And why do you think we would listen to some junior-league-I-only-got-this-spot-because-my-dads-the-mayor-baseballplayer.' He started laughing even harder, not realizing I was standing right in front of him now.
'Wanna be a tough guy huh? Hit me, come on, I dare ya.' He provoked me.
'I think you're mistaken me for yourself my dear friend, because without this "junior-league-son-of-the-mayor-baseballplayer' you're not living on the streets begging for your meal every night.' I lashed back at him.
His face immediately turned angry and out of frustration he pushed me. 'Both of you stop!' Candy tried to stop us, but it was to late for that.
'You're just mad I could satisfy Candy in ways you never could.' That was it. Before I knew it I punched him in his face. 'Don!' Candy yelled in shock.
Jordan started laughing while he walked towards the door, spitting out some blood on the ground. 'Say farewell to you spot on the team brother.' He said pleased before he walked out of the appartment.
I turned around to face Candy, who was still a little shocked staring in front of her. 'As for you.' I said, knocking her out of her toughts.
'Honey, please let me explain.' She rushed over to me. 'I don't wanna hear it.' I yelled walking away from her. 'Baby I'm so sorry please give me a chance to make it up to you.' She kept trying.
'It's a little late for that isn't it?' I crossed my arms over my chest. 'But babe, I love you.' She said looking sad towards the ground.
'Yeah, you loved me so much that you slept with my best friend.' She bit her lip in shame.
I walked over towards the door, grabbing my keys from the floor. 'But Don, I-' I don't wanna hear it Candy, we're over.' I said, taking another step towards the door.
'So you're throwing all of this away? Our whole life together?!' She yelled angry. I turned around and walked over to her.
'Oh Candy baby.' I began, caressing her cheek. 'You did that all by yourself when you decided to fuck my best friend behind my back!'
I walked back towards the door getting ready to leave. 'You have until tomorrow morning to get your things, you can leave the key on the coffeetable, goodbye.' Was the last thing I said before I slammed the door behind me.
I went back to my car, I needed to get out of here, to get drunk so I could forget everything that had happened today.
I drove for what felt like hours before I finally got of the highway and arrived at a small town.
I found a local bar and sat down until someone came to take my order. 'Hey!' I called out, snapping my fingers to the girl who was chatting with some people at the end of the bar.
'Can I get a scotch on the rocks? Wait, make it a double.' I said before I rested my face on my arms.
