Hey y'all. So after thinking i've decided that i want to change up some things in this book, because my writing style has changed and as i read this book the more i cringe and hate it. So if you've read the book up and to chapter 22 then i suggest you read a lil over, maybe skim through it. There won't be any majors huge changes but it'll be different. Amara POV:

I woke up to my alarm going off at 6:30 am. I don't have to be at work until 8:30am, I get up already feeling tired, today's going to be a long day I thought.

I go straight to my bathroom and start the water for a shower. I take off my pajamas almost instantly the cold air hits me. I look outside my window and it's dark outside, so ig it's going to be cold today. Anyways I get into the shower and wash my body with my mango body wash. After I wash up I wash and condition my hair with my mango shampoo and conditioner.

Once I'm done washing up and conditioning I hop out the shower. I walk into my room and my phone starts ringing. I walk over towards it to look at the caller I.d. and it's shay.

Amara- "Hello?"
Shay- "Hey bitch!"
A- "Hey hoe!"

I know what you're thinking, ratchet. I know but that's just our friendship.

A- "wassup?"
S- "you working today?"
A- "yea why?"
S- " I was just asking and plus I was thinking after work we can go to the club because it's Friday! Finally!
A- "sounds good. And I know finally it's the weekend."
S-" wyd rn?"
A- "trying to get ready before I was rudely interrupted"
S- "girl bye! ill see yo ass when you decide to head into work byee" A- " girllaa imma be there byee!"

I put my phone back on the charger I ain't trying to leave the house with a percentage lower then 100. I go and turn on my speaker and no complaints by: Metro boomin feat: offset and drake come on. "Bitch that's my shit!!" I scream.

After I sing that part I head to my dresser and pull out some scrubs to put under my white doctors coat.

Then I go to my vanity mirror desk and start applying my everyday simple makeup. I fill and fix my eyebrows I put on some mascara and get my favorite lip gloss and apply some to my lips. After I'm done with that I go downstairs to eat. 'Fuck ! Why tf did I put on lipgloss before I eat?? I swear I can be a real dumb ass sometimes. I feel stupid asf' i think to myself shaking my head.

I walk down the stairs and head into the kitchen and get out a pan and some fruit and toast to eat for breakfast. After I got out the ingredients I put some coffee in the coffee maker.

After I'm done preparing my food I pour me some coffee and sit at the bar stool by the counter and start grubbing down on my breakfast. I look on the stove to see the time and it's 7:30. Alright I need to leave in the next 20 mins.

I wash my dishes out and head upstairs. I go into my bathroom and brush my teeth because I hate eating after I brush my teeth it makes everything I eat taste weird. Then I go to my closet and get out my shoes and grab my purse so I can get everything I need. I grab my pack of gum, and my phone and I start thinking do I need my charger? Then I remember I have one in my office at work and I have one in my car.

So then I grab my wallet and make sure everything's in there I grab my keys and also put it into my purse, I grab my rub on perfume and I grab my deodorant. I rub on some perfume and put on some deodorant as I put it into my purse when I'm done cause everyone has to keep deodorant on them cause nobody wanna smell your must and I need to stay fresh not musty.

I grab my earphones and I grab my shoes and sit on my bed and put them on. As soon as I have everything I head out the door. I grab my keys out my purse and put them into the key hole and lock all my doors. I already made sure every other door was locked. I head to my white jeep wrangler JL.

Anyways I start my car and make my way to the hospital.

Amara's POV
⌚️ 8:10 AM
📍 Miracle Way Hospital

I make it to the hospital and walk to the reception desk and say hello to the reception lady and ask her if she knows where my assistant is.

"Yes she is waiting for you at your office"
I tell her thank you and head to my office.

I open my door and I see my assistant sitting in one of my chairs with a tablet and her keyboard. She gets up and greets me and hands me my tablet.

I gladly take it and say thank you to her. While I'm scrolling and taping on the tablet she tells me all the appointments I have.

"You have 3 appointments today"
I sigh in relief. That's not that much I'm used to more. I smile at her and ask her "when does my first appointment start?" "In 20 mins." she responds. I nod and continue on the tablet.

Hey lovelies sorry I'm so slow with the updates I've just been having work to do because of school and a while ago I was having problems wit my phone but I'm back!
